It's great work thanks!Sold My Soul wrote Mon Mar 18, 2024 1:53 pm:Thanks. I've been updating this once and sometimes twice, daily but these sites usually wait to update until they get the contract details.
Rest assured I am working tirelessly .....often times getting only an hour of sleep .....just to keep everyone here informed.

Free agent wide receiver Mike Williams is signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.Sold My Soul » Tue Mar 19, 2024 4:08 pm
I hear ya...Been saying it ever since we signed him....Organization was pushing the chips in...and it may have worked....we'll never know because the turd was our coach.AdamJoshua28 wrote Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:12 pm:Free agent wide receiver Mike Williams is signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
The addition of Williams gives the Jets another target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, paired with No. 1 wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Well there goes any interest they had in Adams. Should have traded him when we could have gotten something for him.
Just my opinion.

We need him this year. If we cut him next off season and designate it a June 1st cut it will be 7.5 mil/year. Not terrible.Sold My Soul wrote Tue Mar 19, 2024 4:08 pm:I hear ya...Been saying it ever since we signed him....Organization was pushing the chips in...and it may have worked....we'll never know because the turd was our coach.
Now he is an albatross around the neck with his contract. Hell, Raiders still paying of channel jones

I don't think the Jets adding Williams means we can't trade Adams. The Jets were a possible destination, but not the only possible destination. The recent insane contracts for WRs in FA makes Adams contract in 2024 look crazy cheap.AdamJoshua28 wrote Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:12 pm:Free agent wide receiver Mike Williams is signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Why do you want to trade a 1000+ yard receiver?chucker wrote Wed Mar 20, 2024 12:57 pm:I don't think the Jets adding Williams means we can't trade Adams. IMO we should either look to renegotiate the 2025 salary downward (give Adams a guarantee of 2025 in return for a lower number) or look to trade him this year to a team that already has their franchise QB. If we aren't going to have him in 2025, then getting something for him now is the right move. I could see the Ravens and Texans as potentially interested in a trade to take advantage of their current QB situations.

His current contract makes him a one year guy for us. What's that worth? If he were not on our team, would you trade a 2nd rounder for one year of Adams? Given that we don't even know for sure who our starting QB is, I don't think we're in a situation that a one year WR is worth a 2nd. We do have other weapons, and I think even if we traded Adams, guard would still be our biggest need on offense.silver_ghost wrote Wed Mar 20, 2024 1:14 pm:Why do you want to trade a 1000+ yard receiver?
