I love the shows, the restaurants, the malls, things like the moving statues show in Cesar's, the Belligio water fall show and I love being able to do whatever it is you want 24/7/365. Convenience at your fingertips. Oddly enough, I don't ever see myself going to a Raiders game. I can't stand the NFL and the thought of supporting them makes me sick. I tip my hat to the fans that pay the money to see our team play. Better fans then I...

That reminds of the time the Raiders moved to LA and the Kings changed their colors to match the Raiders. I sort of thought Gretzky and company looked pretty bad ass in silver and black back in the day.Xramfan wrote Wed Apr 03, 2024 4:38 pm:Raiders weren’t “born” in Vegas otherwise they may have shared the “golden knights” colors.

The NFL are greedy thieves with outrageous price gouging. I will never give them one cent. I watch all games on free streaming sites on my TV, these sites Don’t even play the commercials, so they’re not getting my eyes on their advertisements.16 to 88 wrote Wed Apr 03, 2024 5:50 pm: Oddly enough, I don't ever see myself going to a Raiders game. I don’t mind going to Vegas one game a year. I don’t drink for 15 years now, I do like to play craps but not a big gambler. The food is good though and the atmosphere is festive, it can be a bit pricey depending on where you stay and where your seats are, I get promotional rooms through MLife or I do one of those time share deals with no intent of buying haha. It’s easy to walk to the games from anywhere on the strip which is a plus. You can AirBnB for cheaper as well.Attyla wrote Wed Apr 03, 2024 8:24 am:Maybe I am in the minority but I never found the casinos in Vegas that appealing. Since I am not a gambler (I play poker but do not consider that gambling) and only a casual drinker (but I am a Whiskey guy and when I drink beer a snob) and find the shows to be almost worthless, I do not find the appeal. I never do strip clubs so the only real appeal of Vegas is the Raiders and they have priced me out of home games. Between overpriced flights, hotels, tickets and food, I actually have my doubts I will ever go to Vegas to see a game. I much prefer going to Europe for that kind of money..

I love Vegas. Love all types of gambling beyond the slots. Love betting on all types of sports. Love drinking. Fremont street is always fun. Have some really fun and unique shows you can go to. Great all you can eat buffets. Try to get they are much as we can. Really, if you are smart about it, do some research, and know where to look it, it doesn't have to be that expensive of a trip.STHfrontrow » Fri Apr 05, 2024 7:36 am

When I go with my wife I'm a bit more civilized and she provides an itinerary.
Vegas is great and if the Raiders had to move I'm glad it was that city.

A's officially leaving Oakland after 2024, will play in Sacramento through 2027 until Vegas stadium is readyAmish Cabal » Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:25 am
LOL So the A's would rather squat in a 14,000 seat stadium than deal with the City of Oakland another year. How quickly that honeymoon ended.RaiderFan1 wrote Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:10 am:A's officially leaving Oakland after 2024, will play in Sacramento through 2027 until Vegas stadium is ready

Was commenting to my wife last night that the various mayors/officials did their damnedest to chase away every pro franchise leaving one of the great sports fanbases without quality sports entertainment.Amish Cabal wrote Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:25 am:LOL So the A's would rather squat in a 14,000 seat stadium than deal with the City of Oakland another year. From what I read, Oakland either wanted the A's to give up the team name, colors and record, or wanted MLB to guarantee Oakland an expansion team. Oakland STILL does not understand that big-time sports team are a seller's market: there are more cities that want NFL or MLB or NBA teams than there are teams to go around. As long as that's true, Oakland or any other city is in no place to make demands.Amish Cabal wrote Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:25 am:LOL So the A's would rather squat in a 14,000 seat stadium than deal with the City of Oakland another year. I grew up in Satellite Beach, moved to Boston for 18 years, then off to SD for a dozen years and now back to the Cocoa Beach area, neither Boston nor SD are big cities and i still just didn't like them, finally came back to where i was comfortable and Orlando to me is just another pit.352Raider wrote Wed Apr 03, 2024 9:29 am:I can't imagine how bad it would be to live near Vegas, living near Orlando is bad enough.
