Very nice…… You need to visit Marks Barbershop and participate in the “Seasons Grillings” thread for more!!Amish Cabal wrote Fri Apr 12, 2024 10:14 am:Attyla's sounds good. This one is mine. Haven't lost a contest yet.
4-5# Sirlion Steak (or your elk)
1# Thick Cut Bacon
1# Ground Pork Sausage
2 Large Vedalia Onions
3 Green Onions (Stalks included)
3 Green Bell Peppers
2 Red Bell Peppers
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
7-8 Garlic Cloves, crushed
6 Celery Stalks
½ cup Oil
3-4 Jalapeno Peppers (or your choice of hot pepper)
3# Tomato Sauce
3# Diced Tomatoes
2-3 packs chili seasoning (I like Carroll Shelby’s)
1 box fresh Mushrooms
7 TBSP Chili Powder
3 tsp crushed Cumin
2 tsp Tobasco
1 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 Cup Beef Stock
Marinade the steak in Worcestershire about an hour and throw on the grill till med-rare.
Cut bacon to 1” and fry until almost crisp. Drain and keep the grease.
Fry sausage and drain grease.
Dice vedalia, green onion, and all peppers. Slice mushrooms and mash garlic. Dice celery. Saute these items in the oil in batches so you get good caramelization (if you do too much at once, it stews). Cut the steak into chunks and combine all meats and veggies, all tomatoes and sauce into pot. Dump the bacon grease in too! Add beans if you want.
Add all spices, beef stock Worcestershire and cover over medium heat for about 3 hours, stirring frequently. Makes about 2 gallons.
DON'T lose to a can of Hormel!!!!

Don't think I'll ever attend . I'd be afraid I would make a joke and your bi poler disorder would kick in.Attyla wrote Thu Apr 11, 2024 3:10 am:my last tailgate, I had 200 locally sourced smoked and grilled bratwurst sandwiches, a chilled buffalo chicken pasta dish, a big pot of my signature chili, and a bunch of sides. I fed around 150 people. I had a cask of whiskey I personally aged to perfection, cases of Yazoo beer and my rum punch I name the Adam Bomb. I fed Raiders fans, Titans fans and some Steeler fans who just happened to be in town. We all had a blast. You want to get cute? Have at it, but at my parties, everyone is welcome and none are treated poorly.
So, you were saying, funny man?

Hormel chili... pure sodium.Xramfan wrote Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:36 am:My wife just reminded me that this is a small church chili cook and the likely "winner" will be the most basic chili resembling comfort food vs those who make everything from scratch. She asked, "are you prepared to lose to someone who simply dumped a large can of Hormel chili and reheated it?' LOL.
It's all fun and for a good cause

From the body of the article...
So here you have Reid expecting the unconscionable Rice to come in after carelessly and recklessly endangering the lives of multiple people while he still "wants to gather information".Earlier Monday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that the team expects Rice to participate as they began their offseason program Monday with virtual meetings. Reid wouldn't say whether the Chiefs were planning on having Rice participate later in the spring when they move the program to Kansas City.
"I want to keep gathering the information from the law enforcement people,'' Reid said. "We'll just see where everything goes from there [and] let the process take place.''
Knox has been suspended by SMU, which said in a statement last week that it "takes these allegations seriously."

You forgot to add that no animals were harmed.16 to 88 wrote Mon Apr 15, 2024 10:50 pm:Funny, it was all right there on video Andy. Newsflash Reid: he was driving a 119 miles an hour, crashed into a bunch of cars, luckily didn't kill anybody but not that he cared as he fled the scene. Oh and Andy, they have already filed charges and a lawsuit has been brought against him. Now you are up to date.

Dear Andy Reid: no animals were harmed in this careless and negligent act by your player. But not that you care either, as long as he has value to the team and you can win games it's all good by you.
