Draft coverage has exploded with various networks covering it, some of them with multiply shows running concurrently, and with streaming coverage by podcasters and youtubers. What's everyone's plan for watching it this year? Specifically, is anyone planning on following the draft with a free non-network service, and which one?Raider_Len » Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:29 am
I don’t have network tv either other than an antenna that brings in perfect local stations. I watch on YouTube live. There are many feeds that pop up there so I won’t be lacking. Plus I have YouTube PREMIUM so I never have to put up with annoying commercial breaks.Nor_Cal_Raider » Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:44 am
Maybe sign up for a free trial of sirius radio and then cancel. I prefer their commenting over the tv broadcastschucker wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:10 am:Draft coverage has exploded with various networks covering it, some of them with multiply shows running concurrently, and with streaming coverage by podcasters and youtubers. I don't have any network TV so I don't think there will be any way for me to watch anyone actually come up on stage, but watching them shake Goodell's hand is meh anyway.
I know Belichick will be on McAfee and I assume that will be on youtube free everywhere so that's an option. I find McAfee tiresome, but his relentless style might draw more out of Belichick than if someone more respectful were with him. Of course Belichick's draft insights haven't proven that valuable as an actual NFL drafter.
I don't really know what else is available to cheapskates like me - any ideas or suggestions?

I do have a Sirius subscription so I could definitely do that. I bought a lifetime Sirius subscription almost 20 years ago - what a deal that's turned out to be.Nor_Cal_Raider wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:44 am:Maybe sign up for a free trial of sirius radio and then cancel. When I bought it I think it was about $120 a year ($Canadian). It's paid off huge - I definitely have listened to NFL radio way more than anything else.Nor_Cal_Raider wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:31 am:
Damn. That's just a year now

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, I have a few jailbroke fire sticks too. But really, you can pretty much get everything you need just from YouTube, as far as draft coverage.RI RAIDER wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:09 am:You guys need to get a fire stick. Look on line on how to jail break it.

You can do a free trial on Hulu or YoutubeTV (or whatever it's called). Just be sure to cancel before the next billing period.
