I would think we could get at least a mid round #1 pick. for Adams Then I would make an offer to Dallas for CeeDee Lamb. A #1 and Michael Mayer. Maybe an additional 2026 #2 pick.signal » Wed May 01, 2024 6:24 am
While I doubt the Raiders trade Adams.chucker » Wed May 01, 2024 6:27 am
I would have been in favour of trading Adams prior to the draft, if we could have gotten 2nd round value. Now I think we're better off keeping him. It's not just about his value on the field either - his presence will be big in continued development of Tucker and in Bowers getting up to speed in the league. I love the idea of Bowers learning the tricks of getting open early from Adams. That's the kind of value that helps us move on from Adams in 2025 if he doesn't want to take a paycut.BoJacksonRules » Wed May 01, 2024 6:34 am
The only shot we had in trading Adams was this draft. The WR room would be god awful without him. Let him play out his ludicrous contract until his play has significantly slipped and then either cut him or don’t re-sign.Bram_Raider » Wed May 01, 2024 6:42 am
CeeDee Lamb would be nice.Rabid Raider wrote Wed May 01, 2024 6:18 am:I would think we could get at least a mid round #1 pick. for Adams Then I would make an offer to Dallas for CeeDee Lamb. A #1 and Michael Maye. Maybe an additional 2026 #2 pick.
Dallas probably wouldn't do it, but they do need salary relief and it looks like CeeDee is holding out.

Adams will restructure his deal.chucker » Wed May 01, 2024 10:25 am
He will need to take a paycut in 25 and 26, not restructure.NoClapsPlease wrote Wed May 01, 2024 9:21 am:Adams will restructure his deal.

Adams has a lot left in the tank, or, at least enough to be near-elite WR still. Let's see how he does on what is a new team in a way, as AP will have his first full season and AOC will too.GUYDON » Wed May 01, 2024 10:32 am
Keep adams this year, we have no need to trade him right now. We have cap space and he is one of the best in the game. See where we are this season and then trade him next year of things arent great. If we look like we might be contenders find a way to keep him.NoClapsPlease » Wed May 01, 2024 10:52 am
If his production hasn’t gone down, then we shouldn’t be asking him to take a pay cut.chucker wrote Wed May 01, 2024 10:25 am:He will need to take a paycut in 25 and 26, not restructure.

Why is it every time we get a great player there a bunch of people who can't wait to trade them for, well, usually its a draft pick who we have no idea will even turn out to be any good???? Why can't we just keep our good players?
