He makes his line look better then it is and helps out his D tremendously by scoring a lot of points and keeping them off the field and fresh. Not to mention just going into a game they know they can take chances and if it ends in disaster they can still lean on him to save the game.
If I'm let down, I'm let down, but I'm absolutely optimistic about the Raiders in '24.

The improvement of the run game experienced in the second half of the season and particularly when White took over does give me hope that the running attack will be much better in 2024.
While I am not completely thrilled with the depth in the RB stable, I do hope Laube surprises and is ready to contribute from day one and provide the running attack some more options. As for White, I think he has earned the right to see what he can do as the starting RB given what he did late last season.
White's 4.3 yards per carry last season is not elite by any means, but it is not below average either when compared to other starters among the league. I think it safe to assume that he will garner more yards in 2024 but will he be able to raise his yards per carry while doing so?
The season is long and grueling and do think it best if another RB does surface as an exciting option in the backfield. I think Laube is the only RB that has the possibility of filling the bill right now.
Buffalo's plan was to stack the box until we did something different.
We never did anything different.

The Raider running attack was abysmal for a good part of the season last year. That said, there were many factors that contributed to the problem and not the least of them were Jimmy G who was unable to throw the ball down the field and led to defenses pressing and focusing on simply defending 10 yards from the line of scrimmage.RI RAIDER wrote Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:50 am:I am still not convinced about Zeus. I agree about Jacobs being unprepared, but our O-line in that game was pathetic. Jacobs was literally getting hit one step after the ball was handed to him. I think we had less than 5 rushing yards at the half. Then what does McDickface do when we were down 18 on our first possession?
