Did you get mugged by NFL Sunday Ticket between 2012-2022 ??Opoponax50 » Mon Jun 10, 2024 10:11 pm
I don't see it being all that successful. How have people been damaged? No one was ever forced to buy Sunday Ticket. How does it violate anti-trust laws in any substantial way? The NFL sells a product and it didn't block another league from selling its own products.RickRyb » Tue Jun 11, 2024 7:57 am
I've had Sunday Tickets for years now and to me it's worth the price ($300 this year with YouTube TV). Not only do I get to watch games of my teams, but I get to choose to watch other games that I want to watch. It's Hell in Southern California to be forced watching a Chargers' away game when there is a great match-up available elsewhere.Opoponax50 » Tue Jun 11, 2024 11:04 am
Talking about this reminded me to get Sunday Ticket early, so I just signed up again.NoClapsPlease » Wed Jun 12, 2024 6:48 am

I hear all Raiders preseason games will be on NFL Network this year.NoClapsPlease » Wed Jun 12, 2024 8:25 am
I’ve had Sunday ticket for atleast the last 15 yearsOpoponax50 » Wed Jun 12, 2024 9:34 am
That's not forcing anyone to do anything. If the price tag has gotten your attention then you just have to cancel. It takes about 4 minutes.NoClapsPlease wrote Wed Jun 12, 2024 6:48 am:Automatic renewals.

Do you go to sports bars to watch games?Amish Cabal wrote Wed Jun 12, 2024 7:50 am:I hear all Raiders preseason games will be on NFL Network this year.
On topic... I won't get a dime of that lawsuit simply because I refuse to pay for television of any kind. Been unplugged for years.

Why aren't they allowed to charge whatever they want? Why is Gucci allowed to sell 10K purses? We all have a choice in what we want and with what we can afford.NoClapsPlease wrote Wed Jun 12, 2024 8:25 am:I’ve had Sunday ticket for atleast the last 15 years
The truth is, it’s overpriced and the NFL purposely overprices it, because if they didn’t, it would devalue all the TV deals. The networks all conspired together for it to be set this way. That’s why the lawsuit has started. It’s gotten so bad that some of us think it is decently priced but when you compare it to something like nba pass, the price is drastically lower.

As more information comes to light, it appears that the suit is based on the violation of certain antirust laws in order to rip off consumers, which is illegal. A rough analogy would be if there was only one car manufacturer, say GM, and then GM required every dealership to sell its cars at the same price while at the same time refusing offers from other potential dealerships to buy GM cars, but sell them at a competitive price for their own markets. It's something along those lines.SkullCrusher wrote Thu Jun 13, 2024 9:33 pm:Why aren't they allowed to charge whatever they want? Why is Gucci allowed to sell 10K purses? No, living near KC I try to stay out of bars these days if I can help it. I prefer to watch games without Chiefs fans in my ear. I had a feeling the mods might remove some of what I posted. I'll just say there are ways.ELCAraiderfan wrote Thu Jun 13, 2024 8:21 pm:Do you go to sports bars to watch games?

So you hope the Raiders cease to exist?16 to 88 wrote Sat Jun 15, 2024 8:52 am:"We want as many people as possible to watch the free broadcasts," Wilkinson said, via the AP.
Wow, is she ever a horrible liar.
But that should be expected as she is cut from the same filthy cloth. If the NFL has always wanted "as many people as possible" to watch the free broadcasts then why have they spent the last 30 or so years blocking people with the ability to watch them for free?
Forget the 21 billion, I hope they get sued out of existence.
