I can’t knock Josh - he played hard and was a guy you could tell would do whatever it took to win. Nothing but respect for the guy and wish he was still here. I could see him having a monster year in Green Bay and specifically his receiving numbers will probably explode.

Ironic, considering YOU were a major reason why we were losing Jacobs.

Running into the wrong gap and turning what would have been a 12+ yard gain into 2 yards. Getting stuffed on almost all short yardage plays. Constantly getting tackled from behind-- the list goes on and on.

He's a contract year wonder, and nothing more.

To tell you the truth; an NFL player really has to look out for himself on how he get paid; Jacob got a contract for 12 million in 2024 and he is one knock away from never getting paid again 2025….sadly Runningback are very underpaid in the NFL with it being one of the most dangerous positions to play in the NFL…..
I would have love the raiders to keep Jacob on the team as he was one of best running backs we have had in quite a while and he was a very successful 1st round pick also; and how many successful 1st rounder have we had in the last few years; not many….

Blaming Jacobs for our losing culture for his career is just not correct. Saying that he was hitting the wrong gaps is not correct. The plays are designed with certain gaps being utilized. He was running the plays he was given. We have just been a shit organization with a shit run blocking line his entire career. Last year was no exception. They knew Jimmy was going to be useless so our opponents stacked the line, he was literally being hit behind the line of scrimmage constantly. And McDaniels did not even try to change things up. Blaming Jacobs for the results? Fuck that noise.

There is a fairly good chance he is going to have a rebound year. He didn't say anything out of line.

He was a solid back for us, but not a difference maker like Derrick Henry. Overall, the team would've been about the same with him as without him. Maybe a few more losses over the years, but that's about it.

The cap is a reality that every team has to deal with and you want to get the best bang you can for the money you spend.

White is making a bit over a million dollars in 2024. JJ signed a contract where he is averaging 12 million a year in Green Bay. No matter how you interpret JJ's salary and how that money is cut up, he is making boat loads more than White.

Looking at the numbers both financial and statistically, I understand why Telesco did what he did in the offseason. I have no ill feelings toward JJ but I have turned that page and look forward to see what White can do as the main starter in 2024.
