So it looks like to me that people tend to get tunnel vision way to fast. It was not the QB's fault, although he has to shoulder the lions share of the blame. It was not the head coaches fault, although he has to shoulder the lions share of the blame. It was both of them coupled with an offensive line that was frankly offensive, a play selection that frankly just sucked, a defense that looked gassed late in the game and gave up some huge runs, turnovers at really bad times that ended up killing good drives and of course playing against one of the better young QBs who is now coached by a guy who adjusted his game plan to kill us off.

It was all of that. The guy who states that we would have won with O'Connell? This is called guessing. The guys who say if we called for a measurement things would have been different? Who knows if it would have been overturned. Going for it on 4th down? While I agree, we do not know if that would have changed things.

What we do know is good teams get beat all the time and bad teams win all the time. But more often than not, bad teams lose and good teams win. 16 games from now we will know which we are. Chances are, though,, that we are an average team.

That UDFA already had two years in the NFL and was 224lbs. No matter what you say, RBs don't grow on trees, they randomly emerge from the ground. I'm pretty sure the Eagles are going to be very pleased with Barkley who looks like he will be on course for OPOTY.

On a positive note Christian Wilkins was a stud. Dude is worth every penny! 23 of the Chargers 27 runs went for 47 yards. Four of their runs went for 129. Damn! The rematch is gonna be great against those sob's

Harbaugh and Hortiz have dumped around 40% of Telescos guys. Mostly depth guys as the depth was awful. They did release Mike Wiliams and Keenan but that was cap saving issues, and dumped TE Everett who was pretty average, cant block. Even trade for a backup QB who is learning the system as they will cut Stick when he is up to speed.

This roster is much different since Telesco. All last years RBs are gone, TEs all different, new OC and RT, & WRs save for Palmer. All LBs are different except one depth guy, got two new NTs, and all draft picks except 1 have made the team.

So the roster has had a big turnover....and this is likely the worst team Harbaugh will have here going forward. GM Hortiz ...the big difference from him from Telesco is he is a better talent evaluator and he continues to pick up players while Teleco always seemed to be content and only added one here and there and they were always dumpster dive types. I see they are looking at Chaisson but he is a bust.

You didn't care about how they got 63, is was used to taunt anyways. The Chargers defense is much better than It was with Staley and it has different personnel as well.
The WRs you all say are crap, they are better than you think and it will show as the season goes on.
Tom Brady won 2 SBs with his top WR being Deion Branch.

You using Brady as your argument is really bad, sir. He is the greatest of all time. Herbert is good, but not that good. Your receivers are question marks. Herbert will make them better and mask some of their questions, but they are still questions.

Were you taunted for the 63 points? Was this on line or face to face? Was it going in or out of a stadium or over a beer? In my experience, Charger fans give as good as they get. And I should know, one of my very best and oldest friends is a Charger fan.

As for how the game went down? Both sides looked questionable. I believe it came down to one thing. Coaching adjustments at the half were done by Harbaugh and not done by Pierce. That is the difference in the game in my opinion. You won, taking a victory lap, I guess, is your right. But bet me dollars to donuts, if the next time we meet up, if we win, you will not return to take your lumps. I was around when you really had a good team, those Fouts teams were off the charts good....on offense. Not so much on defense. I was around when Marty wasted the best years of Tomlinson. Your team has had some really loaded teams and yet somehow you guys figured out how to shoot yourself in the foot, over and over again. But hey, take your shots over the win Sunday.
