How many times do you see a wide open WR drop a ball that hit him in the hands, but that his team should be awarded a 40 yard advancement because he got bumped or his shirt tugged??
Bullshit.
Today KC got 29 yards on 4rth and 17 because the DB was a half step early in trying to highpoint the pass (that was over the WRs head) to set up the game winning FG.
A PI should be a variable yardage infraction like a facemask, I'd be willing to debate if it's an automatic 1st down.
Technically PI but a very ticky-tacky call. And the chiefs seem to get them so often you kind of just expect it. It was a late flag and tirico makes a point of yelling “the pass is broken up and there’s no flag! Oh wait, a flag comes in late”
Again - technically it’s PI by the letter of the law… but football would be unwatchable if you called every play that close. You’d get offensive holding or defensive PI on every play. And yet the chiefs seem to be exclusively beneficiaries of these micro-officiating calls on plays that legitimately decide the game. They won a f***ing superbowl on one of these calls.
When was the last time the chiefs lost a game on a call like that?
They got lucky today. Cinc beat themselves. They hold MaHomes I think it was to his fewest passing yards ever in a full game. I can't believe they only rushed three on that 4th down. And the DB was there, panics and picks up the PI. Reminded me of when Cinc. blew it on that late hit out of bounds vs KC.....

The Texans look like going to the Super Bowl this season. Is Caleb Williams any good? He was considered to be a generational talent, he also has weapons but looks like he is unable to utilize them.
