6'2 in general IS too short, however, Cam Ward's style of play allows him to offset that deficiency.

If you go to "archive" it will take you to there past "value boards." If you are into mock drafts (I am not) they are the #1 site that has rated mock drafts for years on end now (20 years or so?) Current king of the hill for mock drafts is Jason Boris times news. They also rate other sites "big boards" which they call a value board on their site. There own guy Robby Esch is king of the hill in that category. Pretty cool stuff...

I’ve watch Ward for 3 years now (which you obviously haven't) & know the two things you say are his biggest strengths are actually 2 of his biggest weakness he needs to work on.
Firstly, he isn't uber mobile like you claim & needs to make better decisions when to use the mobility he does have.
Secondly, he need to stay consistent with his throwing mechanic's as his over eagerness to play hero ball let’s said throwing mechanics get away from him which as we’ve seen with alot of rookie can tank there development
Thirdly & this is the big one his ball security in both facets of the game is a worry. He fumbles way to much on the run ala “he who shall not be named” & he forces way to many passes into tight windows in the college level that might not fly at the NFL level
As much as Ward is one of the beast prospects in this years draft he is not the surefire home run hitter that your making him out to be as he could be just as much Jamies Winston than Patrick Mahomes
I was the first guy on here to talk about Ward & I love his high potential but he does have a few weakness that need work like every QB that has came out

As for the height thing i’m not worried whether a QB is 6’2 or 6’6 i’m more worried about things like arm, athleticism, football IQ, accuracy, improvisation etc the actual intangibles that matter
I mean size has never affected the likes of Brees, Flutie, Thiesman, Vick, Wilson, Tarketon etc
The best thing is that the new average for QB is around 6’2 but the all knowing has told us that is to small
Absolute freak athlete and he knows football. To me, he’s the most sure fire prospect in this draft.

As in - if we already had a Qb, I’d be figuring out how to get him. If we had a Qb and we had the number 1 pick, I either draft him with the first overall pick or I’m putting that pick up for auction and building the trenches.
I do kind of agree on Hunter a little bit as well. I don’t think he’ll be a bust but I do think he’s kind of overrated based on playing both ways. If he was just a receiver or just a corner… I question whether he’d be as highly regarded. Of course the fact that he plays both ways means nothing when you draft him since he’s not doing that in the NFL.
I know I posted "just loose baby" but when game time comes, of course I want to see them beat our opponent. However, at this point in the history of this team and my age, I don't care if they lose out and get a very high pick. We desperately need a franchise QB and you have to rely upon luck too much if you draft later in the round. Tom Brady was a fluke and Brock Purdy is the ultimate fluke.

I wouldn't be so hot on Tankathon when it comes to that. I would give these guys a whirl. They are pretty accurate where guys go come draft time (value board aka big board). That is to say whereabouts in the draft they view them as a prospect v. NFL teams. I wouldn't put any stock into what's going on now but check back with them from time to time all the way up to the draft. It's not about having a "loser's mentality." There are lots of reasons that losing out would help this team. HOWEVER, I root for us to win every time because I'm a Raiders fan. Just as important, it's not like hoping for a win is going to make it happen. We can agree to disagree. Actively rooting for the team to lose is a losers mentality. Not saying you do that. Getting the number 1 pick guarantees nothing. The best qb in the nfl was taken 10th.
