Are Dart and Howard going to go go 2nd or 3rd round?

Or has 2024 created a new normal where there is always going to be a run on QBs in the 1st round?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Will Howard is the second QB off the board. With Sanders dropping down and maybe Dart overtaking him.

6ft5, big arm, accurate, can run and played a lot of games. Slow start this year in a new team and system. But after losing to Michigan, I think something changed mentally.

I remember somebody saying being a QB for a stacked team in college isn’t as easy as people think, it takes a lot of stress mentality to win every game when you’re the clear favourite. A lot of pressure to just not lose it for them. Why McCord looks so much better away from Ohio, he can play more free and act more on instincts. Don’t have to double guess what you should be doing.

I think Howard right now is the better prospect with a higher floor but Dart is the one with the higher ceiling

I like both guys in the 2nd but i just don't know if they’ll be there, we might have to back in the 1st or trade back the 1st (which i’d prefer) to get one or the other

I don’t even know if he’s got a lower floor than Dart, Howard has the better arm and size, and shown growth each year. I would definitely say Dart is more of an unknown.

Good Point. No one knows for sure. No one knows for sure about Sanders or Ward either. If the team was a QB away from competing then trade up. At this point this team is missing foundational pieces.

Agreed. The incoming GM and HC better be on the same page on who they draft. HC needs to understand how to use them.

If it is indeed BJ, I suspect he is going to want a mauler OL or stud RB. Fortunately OL and RB is a strength this year. His offense is predicated on running the ball.
