Yeah, but did you know Joe Theisman broke his leg. Hmmm. You probably didn't know that.Attyla wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 5:28 am:Joe Theismann weighed 147 pounds his rookie season at Notre Dame. By his rookie season in the NFL he weighed 191 pounds. As you get out of your teen body, you naturally will bulk up. To assume a skinny QB cannot put on their man body weight if they do not do it by their rookie season in the NFL is the flaw. Some just take a bit longer.
Daniels will bulk up a bit over time, it is almost certain to happen.

I can still hear the snap of that leg when I watched it live on TV, terrible memory.haji81872 wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 8:26 am:Yeah, but did you know Joe Theisman broke his leg. Hmmm. You probably didn't know that.
So, even when he put on weight his bones stayed small. Plus I heard he didn't drink milk.
Also, Jamarcus put on his man body weight and look what happened to him. Same thing may happen to Daniels.

Well, one perm banned dude came back to set us straight on Richardson. I locked in on him Sunday all game just to see his game. Found out he has almost zero game. Even the TD to a wide open receiver was bad, way under thrown and floated it.haji81872 wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 8:21 am:Someone should pull up the receipts on everyone who was all over Richardson being a super star. Yikes he is bad, bad, bad. Inaccuracy is one thing. Having zero feel for the game is another. Plus, he took a play off because he was tired? WTF. Of course then his fanboys put it on the strength and condition coach.

In was watching it live as well. I still remember Lawrence Taylor's reaction. Napoleon McCallum's dislocated knee is another injury I won't soon forget.Attyla wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 9:47 am:I can still hear the snap of that leg when I watched it live on TV, terrible memory.

Holy hell, Richardson benched? Brutal start to your career:raiderjohn » Wed Oct 30, 2024 11:25 am
Plus an unheard of tap out. Who does that in the NFL as a QB? I think he lost the squad at that point and the move had to be made. Where they go from here, QB wise, who knows, Flacco for 2-3 years?Attyla wrote Wed Oct 30, 2024 4:04 am:Holy hell, Richardson benched? Brutal start to your career:
First year, a season ending injury
Second year, a season ending ineptitude

I agree, he could easily be starting in another week or two. Sitting for a while may help him in the long run, he obviously wasn't ready for the big time and this gives him some time and takes the immediate pressure off. Having said that his passing numbers are the worst we've seen in 20 years or something like that. Akili Smith, I think I heard, was the last that was as bad statistically.haji81872 wrote Wed Oct 30, 2024 1:30 pm:I don't think they are going to give up on Richardson, but a strong message had to be sent.

And that's just it. You manage to hit the proverbial nail on the head.ToastPatterson wrote Mon Oct 28, 2024 9:27 pm:Jayden Daniels is listed at 6' 4" 210 lbs

I am sure Jayden will get a few free steak dinners after his Hail Mary heave last Sunday to bolster his frame.

Lean??? Oh, that's a hot one!riseNraid09 wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 2:26 am:Bro, he's lean, not skinny. Anyone can get knocked out of a game, no matter how your built. Seems to me he bounced right back the very next week and got the W though, so what exactly are you faulting him for?

He came into the NFL at 6' also. He wasn't a towering 6' 4". And lets not forget with all the talk about his frame pre draft and in this modern era were trainers and agents are doing all they can accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives, for all we know before the weigh in he had a fat breakfast and drank a lot of water to help squelch worries about his weight. For all we know he could barely be breaking 200 pounds. Even at 210 you can clearly see how skinny he is. Already been knocked out of one game...Attyla wrote Tue Oct 29, 2024 5:28 am:Joe Theismann weighed 147 pounds his rookie season at Notre Dame. By his rookie season in the NFL he weighed 191 pounds. The Jets scored 20+ points, committed O turnovers, and held their opponent to under 250 yards of offense.
From 1940 until yesterday, teams were 756-0 when they hit those three metrics.
But the Jets lost to New England today, 25-22.

Dude, Jayden Daniels has a slight build. No one has said any different. None of us can see the future to determine how durable the kid will be. There are a multitude of factors beyond his physique.16 to 88 wrote Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:16 pm:And that's just it. You manage to hit the proverbial nail on the head.
If you put Stroud next to Daniels the difference would be night and day. I fail to understand how somebody can look at him on t.v. and not see how skinny his arms, frame, neck and legs are.
