No surprise here. Entitled diva. Exchanged notes with Rodgers and well lets let it blossom in the swamps of Jersey.chucker » Fri Nov 08, 2024 2:49 pm
Aside from the diva talk. There have been a lot of references by some people over the past couple years (not so much this year) that Adams is a HOFer. I've always felt he needed more elite years to get there and he's no spring chicken. What do people think of his HOF chances?NoClapsPlease » Fri Nov 08, 2024 4:19 pm
I can’t go as far as to say he’s not HOFraiderjohn » Fri Nov 08, 2024 5:04 pm
Boy, TD's Mike Evans, Antonio Gates and Larry Fitzgerald are ahead of him on the All Time TD list NOT in the Hall of Fame. He's sitting 13th on the all time list. 3 All NFL, 6 Pro Bowls....I say no. He needs to move up the TD List, none of his stats jump out and says HOF. 2 pro bowl years and a deep run as the #1.Dr Death » Fri Nov 08, 2024 5:15 pm
He will make the Hall. I don't think he's done enough, but 'they' will put him in.chucker wrote Fri Nov 08, 2024 2:49 pm:Aside from the diva talk. IMO he needs a bunch more good years or at least one or two more great ones to do it. WR is a tough crowd in the HOF these days. Right now he's in the Ocho Cinco zone to me - some good, a short time of elite. But he also had the advantage of playing with a great QB in GB. I think his one year of all-pro with Carr actually helps his chances somewhat because it proves he could do it without Rodgers.
Not an important question, just bye week musings.

Ochocinco is 2x first team and 1x 2nd team all pro, 6 pro bowls, and hasn't sniffed the HOF and probably won't. Both guys with 11 years. Torry Holt has way more yards, fewer TDs in 11 years.NoClapsPlease wrote Fri Nov 08, 2024 4:19 pm:I can’t go as far as to say he’s not HOF
3x first team All pro
6 times pro bowl
2x TD leader
I don’t think there’s an active receiver that matches those accolades and when you compare him to his receiver class, the only guy that’s better is Antonio brown, in my opinion.

A lot of it for Adams probably just comes down to longevity. Seems like HOF really leans heavily on all time stats. If Adams can play another 4 years even putting up production at 50% of his peak numbers - he’s likely top 10-15 all time in receptions, yards and TDs.chucker wrote Fri Nov 08, 2024 6:01 pm:Ochocinco is 2x first team and 1x 2nd team all pro, 6 pro bowls, and hasn't sniffed the HOF and probably won't. There's just so much passing in the game today that it's tough to get in. Adams has to get back to elite level to make it happen IMO - fading to "good" now probably won't be enough. Numbers matter for WRs and his numbers are "hall of very good" level.
