Feel like the other thread can still live as a more opinionated platform, but this one should be discussion on only coaches/GMs we have officially requested.chucker » Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:09 pm

He’s a donkey guyMarzan wrote Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:25 pm:Schefter seems to be losing his mind about the info linking Johnson to the Raiders. I've never seen him this rattled. Is it his beef with Brady?

I could definitely get behind Saleh for DC. I would be pretty meh on Rivera for DC, but I'd understand it with a first time HC. I'd love Leonard at DC, with Rivera also on staff as the stabilizing force for a first time HC and first time DC. Rivera is a lot more in touch than the old fuckers we had on staff last year IMO.RI RAIDER wrote Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:26 pm:Chucker, that was my feeling with the Saleh interview. I do not think he is getting a HC job this cycle. He would be a good get for DC.

This idiot might have the dumbest take of all time. Head coaches don’t pick their job on who the other coaches are in the division. And let’s not act like the three other coaches are gonna last too long. Two of them are old as dirt, one is having MAJOR health issues, and two of the three quarterbacks are meh. Herbert has shown he can’t win a playoff game and Bo is average.

That's a good ass hire by them. And it takes away from the Chiefs, so even better.chucker wrote Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:04 pm:https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status ... 8680238255
I don't know if this guy was on our radar at all, but that's one job filled.

Maybe it’s because we never get nice things but I full expect Johnson to end up with the BearsTrainnvain » Fri Jan 17, 2025 3:01 pm
Pardon my ignorance, does this indicate he's decided to move on from the Lions once their season is over?

That was my first instinct...... and he's clearly considering it. But you also have to think that even if he decides to return then he would be negotiating a new massive contract that would likely compare to head coaching deals. It appears that Priority Sports reps Dan Campbell and Dan Quinn, so they're well represented in the game tomorrow.Trainnvain wrote Fri Jan 17, 2025 3:01 pm:Pardon my ignorance, does this indicate he's decided to move on from the Lions once their season is over?
