I agree, but Cook was drafted in the second round. But you don't have to grab a rb at 6 to fix the run game

I'm not OK with going with the same roster of RBs as we had last year and yeah I know some people claim that there are plenty of RBs available in later rounds but will those be any better than what we already have?...I wouldn't bet on it.

We can go back and forth all you want with our "lists" which you began...but the point is, all drafts picks come with uncertainty. There have obviously been many 1st rounders that have done well and many that did not...there have been many later round picks that have done well and many that have not. And citing the performance of our OL instead of our RBs as the reason of our failure to run the ball last year is debatable.

You can take an OLman or a DLman or a QB or a RB in the first round and all of them will likely carry the same odds of failing or succeeding.

As to who/what we should draft first, you have your opinion, I have mine.

The SuperBowl again confirmed that Defense wins championships.

With Philadelphia using the Al Davis philosophy of a defense using a four man front and not blitzing .
Al always said if you build a front four that can create pressure and sacks without blitzing you can dominate any offense.
This Super Bowl proved it in spades .

That being said , the #1 pick at 6 should be Mason Graham period .

You then resign Koonce or bring back Mack , and this D line become elite .

If we can get Skattebo in the 3rd (which seems like a close call), I go Oline in 2nd if a person is worthy of the pick.

But FA is first and can change any or all of this.

Bit shocked to seeing Will Johnson that low.

If we get a decent QB in FA, I'm warming up to Mason Graham at 6. Him Maxx and a healthy Wilkins to really give opposing QB's reason to throw the ball away quickly.

The mocks that I've looked at have Sanders as the most frequent pick at 6, followed by Jeanty and MacMillan. Can't say that I really want any of them but I'll trust our guys with whoever.
