If they did, they vetted him with the best group of people we've ever had do it. Tom recently talked about a QB needs to know the D as they break the huddle and adjust the play pre-snap. So one would think they are going to look for that quality in a QB. And perhaps they know if Sanders or whomever can do it.raider_kin wrote Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:54 am:Getting tired of seeing mocks which have us taking Sanders. Just can't see the new management team doing that.

That would top drafting JaPUKEus Russell as the all time worst decision .Rabid Raider wrote Wed Feb 12, 2025 2:29 pm:This makes me sick...

Yes he's a wrecking call. Short but powerful. I would be ecstatic if the Raiders drafted him in the 4th or later.BoJacksonRules wrote Wed Feb 12, 2025 8:21 am:Im intrigued by Tahj Brooks, RB Texas Tech. If we are able to get 2 more mauling Offensive Linemen and a 4th or 5th rd back like Brooks I’d be very pleased. Just being able to pound the rock and play good Defense would be a big step in the right direction.

Robin Williams said, "If alcohol is a crutch.......then tequila is the wheel chair".
I learned an amazing trick in my bartending days to avoid what I call "that tequila face" after you swallow a shot, and I've turned a lot of customers onto it...Try this; keep a shot/sip of OJ at hand and as soon as you gulp the Patron (or any tequila) chase it with the OJ....BAMMM !, no "tequila face" whatsoever.
It really is an amazing trick, don't know why but it works !...been doin' that way for about 35 years.

I have a feeling he will be there at 6. Spytek and PC historically do not move up. With all the holes on this team has they would be foolish to mortgage away picks. Teams that give up a ton of picks for a QB traditionally fail.Rabid Raider wrote Wed Feb 12, 2025 2:29 pm:This makes me sick...

You only do that trade if you think Ward really is a Franchise QB and everybody is all-in.AETIUS wrote Wed Feb 12, 2025 2:59 pm:That would top drafting JaPUKEus Russell as the all time worst decision .
Could anyone with a sliver of football sense do that trade ?
Well , look at the franchise we’re talking about .
With Turnip at the helm , expect the worse .

Jeanty is not my first choice but as long as they have a plan (that works) to strengthen the O line I would be good with that.Rabid Raider wrote Thu Feb 13, 2025 6:06 am:It so much better that moving up and losing draft capitol on a big maybe QB.
Last year we drafted a TE would seems to now be the best TE in the league.
To draft Jeanty and have possibly the best RB, isn't that bad of an idea, especially on a team that wants to play defense and run the ball.
If Carter, Graham, Ward and Hunter are not there I have no problem with the pick. I dont want Johnson at 6.
