Those who watched college football understood Levis was clearly a high risk of bust if drafted earlier than round 3. He could not beat out Sean Clifford at Penn State and transferred to Kentucky to get some playing time. He is not an NFL level QB. Not sure where the hype originated, but he did a good job of marketing himself. He has more of a future in marketing than as an NFL QB.

Reports out of Titans camp say he looks good thus far. But it is far too early to crown anyone.

Welcome back dude. I feel like the vast majority around here did like AR15 more than Levis.

At the same time - time will tell on this. Looking like shit in OTAs doesn’t mean much. I remember hearing about a certain AFC West QB throwing 6 picks in one of his first OTAs and how dumb the team was for picking him and moving on from their version of Carr…

Yes that guy was Pat Mahomes.

Now I think Levis sucks and have been pretty open about that but we’re nowhere close to finding out if we were right or wrong about either him or AR.

Yes it is early. We will see once the pads go on. I think he will flame out pretty quickly at this level though.

yea, I don't know. Reports are that Bryce is killing it too. Even once the pads are on, all four of these guys have a long year ahead, game at this level is the elite of the elite. Tshirts, no pass rush, no pressure, this is just fools gold to think anyone is right or wrong as of right now. Hell, Brady Quinn killed it in camp and we saw what he became.

It's June, they are rookies, they are all going to have good and bad days. Lot of pressure to put on a very young man to be sure.

No one has fool proof crystal ball so 100% certainly isn't the standard. Still, evaluations are very much a thing. The problem is most people don't know how to evaluate or what to place emphasis on. The two things they revert to are a) college stats and accolades and b) popular opinions in the draft media, especially EARLY opinions.

On another note, it's doesn't look promising for Hendon Hooker. Already Campbell said he isn't getting any action this year which means the earliest he could see action is when he is 26 and 9 months. And that isn't going to happen. Jared Goff will get a new contract after this year with the weapons they have put around him.
