Huey was having his best season in Cleveland...as sad as that is. I don't know why they didn't fire him last season. It doesn't get much worse than 1-31. Huey simply isn't a leader. He is a really bright guy who is a great coordinator but a lousy HC. I am glad we moved on from him when we did.

And he is currently banned so he can't explain how he was right all along. I hope he gets out of jail soon because I would love to hear the real reason he lost his job.

Man it’s crazy how eerily familiar that take is to what happened with the Raiders. From him making the panic Palmer trade (tried with McCarron), to the big talk and no action, to throwing his coordinators under the bus blaming everyone but himself for that late season collapse.

I think Hue is a good offensive mind but there has to be something with the guys personality like stated in the article and some from previous teams....before he came here as OC I remember rumbings that the Ravens were more than happy to get him out of Baltimore and not so much due to his play calling.

He didn't have much to work with the past 2 seasons in Cleveland but obviously this season he can't seem to work with anyone...Don't see him getting another HC gig anytime soon.....After this mess he may have trouble finding work other than a positional coach for some time...Everyone gets fired at some point but his downfall seems to be more on a character level than anything else.

My favorites will always be "Pryer" and "Walters".
The in-famous (more than famous) Andrew Walters.

11-44-1 as a HC. I think as late as last yr some people still want him back as a HC and/or defend him? How and why?

He’s a good OC/QB coach just isn’t a good HC or good with an power that’s given to him

He used to say that his proposed offense, featuring Michael Vick, Terrelle Pryor and Tim Tebow rotating in and out running a single wing offense with Marcel Reece as blocking wide receiver, would be "unstoppable."

The Browns board? Wait till Skullz sees this! :bomb:

Jackson never worried about more than what could get Hue Jackson through the day, no matter the cost to the team

No true words were ever spoken. He proved this when he threw our future into the piss troth to accommodate his temporary meal ticket, Carlson Palmer. I remember this clown patting himself on the back for having the gift of leading men. He never bothered to say "Over the edge."
