So is he responsible for wins or isn’t he?Twoutrally wrote Sun Nov 20, 2022 5:09 pm:CARR has beating them 6 times in ROW!

Adams was just making conversation back then and Carr took it and ran with it.sdraider85 wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 9:42 am:Him and Davante dreamed about fighting not to finish 4th place in the division? What a clown

They only count if we make a come back in the 4th or OT. Seriously man, do you even watch football?Xramfan wrote Mon Nov 21, 2022 9:44 am:Why so many opportunities?
But I’m glad you recognize QB win/loss records now.
60-77 ring a bell?

He is responsible for every win and has zero responsibility for any loss.sdraider85 wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 9:44 am:So is he responsible for wins or isn’t he?

I refer to is as the "Number Four/Defense Offset Paradigm Effect"Raidernation1979 wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 10:10 am:He is responsible for every win and has zero responsibility for any loss.

I have no ill will toward Carr. I just dont want him as the Raiders qb anymore. He is a hard worker, he has been avalible. Those are two big things you need from a qb. He also has been (despite this season) very good in one score games with the last drive......But he is wildly inconsistent, he is a coaches pet yes man, he folds when under real pressure both physically and mentally, when he is hit he is HIGHLY likely to fumble and its actually surprising when he doesnt. We are always in a 1 score game at the end because he wont/cant attack when there is an oppertunity.Opoponax50 » Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:29 am
The Jets have benched their starting QB who'd gone 5-2 this season.Amish Cabal » Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:39 am
That's affirmative. He's much too comfortable half-assing his job in too many games. But then, maybe they'd have to answer to Mark if they sat his pet.Opoponax50 wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:29 am:The Jets have benched their starting QB who'd gone 5-2 this season.
Granted, it's a very different circumstance than what we have here, but I like a HC who isn't afraid to sit a guy who was considered the anointed starter.
I do wonder if Carr had been made to ride the pine a few times if it would've done him some good. It wouldn't have hurt him, and if he would've pouted and asked for a trade then it would've best for both him and the team to move on from each other.

Agree with the first statement, although I'd put him at about the top of middle tertile.GUYDON wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 10:29 am:In all he is a very safe middle of the pack qb. If everything was perfect around him he could win a super bowl, but perfect is never going to happen. Rarely if ever have I said "Derek put this team on his back today" or, "carr is one hell of a qb"

I'm with you. Ceiling and floor for his play on any given day are too low to consider him an answer as a franchise QB, even though he can look great for a quarter or two. There are a handful of guys worth the money he's making and he's not one of them and it seems pretty clear that we've seen his best given that he's in his 9th year as a starter.GUYDON wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 10:29 am:I have no ill will toward Carr. Thats what i want, a qb we can all be proud of. Someone that doesnt stop attacking all the angles. Someone that doesnt jist slip in to 3 and out over amd over because the game is close. Go out and dominate.

If Carrs contract costs us JJ and a couple young defenders I’m going to be pissedlive.B.A.raida » Wed Nov 23, 2022 12:14 pm
Derek Carr + 40 Million in cap will NEVER win a SB… if that were truly on his list of goals he’d have to take a contract making about 10-15 million a year so the rest of the team can be souped up on both sides… and I highly doubt Carr would play for that much… considering what he has to put in his body *tears* just to sleep at nightGUYDON wrote Wed Nov 23, 2022 10:29 am:I have no ill will toward Carr.
