it was a designed rollout. I am not sure how you can think otherwise. Right at the snap he was rolling out, not head move to the left no hesitation.Hellbound wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:35 pm:You need to learn football

Exactly. If we'd let Carr go and brought in someone like Taylor Heinicke, then okay, you don't expect guys like that to be able to make all the throws a top 10 or top 5 QB does. But this offense is built around the assumption that Carr can and should be able to make all those throws.NoThanksSir wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:28 pm:I'm gonna push back on this one. This throw is the new expectation for top tier QBs, and Carr is consistently paid like one. It's not an easy throw, but it's a throw he should make considering he is our highest paid player and has teacher's tenure when it comes to job security. He's simply not that good. If he were, he would make those.

Hitting wide open receivers in stride for a TD isn't his game ...yeah okHellbound » Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:00 pm
Sorry. That was sarcasm since that's a continued rebuttal on hereAttyla wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:37 pm:it was a designed rollout. I am not sure how you can think otherwise. Right at the snap he was rolling out, not head move to the left no hesitation.

Carnival teddy bear accurate. Can sling it to a spot but a moving target in stride? Dicey at best.3rd and Long wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:54 pm:Hitting wide open receivers in stride for a TD isn't his game ...yeah ok

He had a 6 passer rating (No typo) on throws over 20 yards this season prior to the Titans game.BluegrassRaider wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:16 pm:Carnival teddy bear accurate. Can sling it to a spot but a moving target in stride? Dicey at best.

That is damning evidence that carr is the problem. His predetermined spots for his passes to land leave no room for improvising once the ball is hiked. Hes like a guy who graduated from high school that cant read. It was fine in high school but when he goes to get a job he cant fill out the paper work.raiders1988xyz wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 12:58 pm:https://twitter.com/Sanjit__T/status/15 ... 7050769415
another under throw ball for touchdown
is that the same drive we settled for field goal?

Not saying he has elite speed like Randy. The kid is quick (long strides) and is a wrecking ball (30 lbs heavier than Randy).rich72 wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:19 pm:Hes the size of randy moss. A lot slower though.

Dead on, he was one the run and that's a tough throw to make. His others where he isn't leading his receivers into open areas are the ones that are way more concerning than this!Attyla wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:03 pm:this one I have less of an issue with. He was on a dead run and that is not his best skill set. Mechanically he could have set his feet but that would have delayed the throw, making it far less likely he would have completed it.

Hot damn. Dubow has amazing stats that put facts and numbers to the sick loathing and discomfort I feel when thinking of Carr.raiders1988xyz wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 3:12 pm:https://twitter.com/JoshDubowAP/status/ ... 4712663040

I dont understand why there is so much controversy after this long to just get another QB. Then at least we can all be united in hating the new guy if we lose. The only difference is it wont cost us a large chunk of our salary cap.
