It’s tragic what happened but I was thinking the same as Carr. We back our guys.Xramfan » Wed Nov 03, 2021 6:20 pm

As much as I and most everyone else have shit on Ruggs for what he did, Carr’s attitude/public response here is inspiring. He’s a really really good dude.DSOTM wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 4:51 pm:“He needs to be loved right now, if no one else will do it I’ll do it. “
How can anyone seriously not root for this guy? I’ve shit on Carr like everyone else but I’ve always cheered for him. We could do a helluva lot worse at QB. Carr is the first real Qb we’ve had since Gannon.

For the longest time I havent figured out wether to cheer for this guy or hope we draft his replacement. The truth is, I am an idiot for not embracing him as our qb and realizing that you dont miss guys like this until they are gone. The ultimate team player attitude, no drama, and the skills to go along with it. Thank you Derek for being a true leader through one of the most tumultuous 3 or 4 weeks a team has had in NFL history.DSOTM » Wed Nov 03, 2021 6:45 pm
I was one who wanted Carr gone, today changed my mind. The guy is the leader of this team, loves his teammates and loves being a Raider.Twin84Airraid wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 6:32 pm:For the longest time I havent figured out wether to cheer for this guy or hope we draft his replacement. Derek Carr is the most unappreciated player in Raiders franchise history.Twoutrally wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 5:59 pm:#4 is such a class act really proud to have him as our QB

Al would have replaced him after his first year, thats a fact.deathstar wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 7:00 pm:Derek Carr is the most unappreciated player in Raiders franchise history.

This is a shallow take at best, and I bet you know that. People don't conduct themselves or make decisions solely out of fear of punishment, whether explicitly "religious" or not. It's inaccurate to characterize religious folk in that manner.Opoponax50 wrote Tue Nov 02, 2021 5:02 pm:If a person is only good because they're afraid their chosen deity will punish them, it says frightening things about that person.
I think Carr would be a good man regardless of his religious beliefs. If he were to lose his faith, it's absurd to think he'd suddenly become some horrible person. He'd still be him, just with a different religious belief system or no religious belief system.

Al also Drafted Jarmarcus Russell over Calvin Johnson that’s a fact.rich72 wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 7:02 pm:Al would have replaced him after his first year, thats a fact.

Maybe or maybe not but Al certainly would not hired Jon Gruden the second time around. Both Al and Jon did not see eye to eye and had shouting matches in front of players. If Al was alive, Jon Gruden would have been coaching in Tampa Bay.rich72 wrote Wed Nov 03, 2021 7:02 pm:Al would have replaced him after his first year, thats a fact.

Carr is the QB this franchise (and even more so, this fanbase) needs, not the one we deserve.
