It’s a nice feeling to have an elite QB.ReturnOfTheMaxx » Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:37 pm
That throw to Kenyan Drake was seriously good. Throw of the day.Lamonica_D » Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:40 pm

Carr with a great game. If he can gain consistency and the Oline holds up, this team can be a handful. Lots of weapons and Carr spreads the ball around well.Lecomp » Mon Oct 18, 2021 5:12 am
Nassib took a personal day Wednesday after he found out the news that his former boss was a homophobe, so would guess he was a bit sensitive, yes.grosse gurke wrote:Not sure everyone is as sensitive as you....or at least I hope people dont crumble over some ill advised emails.

balance, that is what you need. If your coach who was "championing" your decision to come out is all the sudden a douchebag homophobe, that will rock you a bit. Nassib is a human being and he needed a day to get it together. Good for him, we should be supportive of the kind of guy who wants his shit together before he hits the field. He had his second highest snap count of the season yesterday, so Bradley felt he was ready to go.Lecomp wrote Mon Oct 18, 2021 5:12 am:Nassib took a personal day Wednesday after he found out the news that his former boss was a homophobe, so would guess he was a bit sensitive, yes.
Assuming you're not gay, and you're most definitely not the only openly gay active player in the nfl, would suggest you stop trying to tell people how to feel about such situations and try and show a little bit of empathy.
Sensitivity isn't a flaw.

We did right by Nassib and he returned the favour with a solid outing yesterday. Amazing what a bit of compassion can do.Attyla wrote Mon Oct 18, 2021 5:40 am:balance, that is what you need. Sirius NFL radio guys were talking this morning about which NFL QB's are currently performing the best. Someone made a list of 12 names which had Mayfield as number 1, Carr was 11, Joe Burroughs 12. I think Carr is a legitimate starting NFL QB but I don't believe signing him to another big dollar long term contract would be a good idea.Attyla » Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:42 am
depends, I am forming an opinion that when Carr is allowed to play without the shadow of a big name coach (let's just say Gruden as an example) and is given a bit of freedom on the field, he can do some pretty decent stuff. Del Rio definitely got a lot out of Carr in 2016 (2017 was a disaster in comparison but he did not do terrible that year) and yesterday we saw different Carr than we have in a long long time. Gruden looks like he shackled Carr into his system instead of creating a system that Carr could shine in.Aqua wrote Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:25 am:Sirius NFL radio guys were talking this morning about which NFL QB's are currently performing the best. Edwards is a freak like that too. Hope he keeps developingLamonica_D wrote Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:40 pm:That one was nice but he a shit load of nice throws.
The two to Ruggs were on point. Waller was perfect.
The one to Edwards was so on point that he only caught with one hand. Look at the placement it fell right in to his chest.

341 yards on 18 completions. I don't care who you are, that's insane. I think he may be the only QB so far this year to have 340+ yards and 2 TDs on less than 20 completions.Aqua » Mon Oct 18, 2021 10:16 am
Carr's current contract includes the 2022 season, correct ?Attyla wrote Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:42 am:depends, I am forming an opinion that when Carr is allowed to play without the shadow of a big name coach (let's just say Gruden as an example) and is given a bit of freedom on the field, he can do some pretty decent stuff. if that remains the case, there is a chance we would extend him. If yesterday is an indication of how far off the map Gruden took him, we very well may have to extend him
