Laughing belligerently at something you don’t understand portends a descent into delirium and madness. Bonne chance.

Who do you think wins that division? Saints are favored in all 4 sites I checked. Not saying they are great but that division is in shambles. They have a solid roster. As much as I am glad Carr is gone he is a big step up from what they had.

Might as well throw darts at a board. I’d guess CAR, but also I think every team in the NFCS is trying to build the right way, with the exception of NO.

Edit: oops I forgot about TB :sobbing:

Carr went and hid in that division.

His little safety zone. I doubt he is rallying for Hunter anywhere as near as much as he is rallying for Carlson...

Once they make the playoffs and win more games than us the media is going to be relentless. I don't care, we needed to move on from him, but they will have a field day.
I used to support Carr and Gruden but the truth is Carr has never done shit for the Raiders, like winning a playoff game as the starting QB and Gruden beat the Raiders in the Superbowl.

So fuck them both football wise, outside of football hope nothing negative against them. All that they loved the Raiders is irrelevant when they did more negative than positive for the Raiders.

Carr was given pretty much a decade to prove he was a franchise QB, but he didn't come through for whatever reason. Gruden was given a 2nd chance with the Raiders and wasted most of the Raiders draft picks on bad players and left them in cap hell.

I think Carr is a solid backup QB and Gruden can design good offensive plays but Carr being elite and Gruden having too much control is a big no no. They are both gone now and it will be interesting what will become of them NFL wise elsewhere.

I just want the Raiders to win and the Raiders barely ever play the saints so why care about their success with the saints? I highly doubt they will win anything meaningful with them anyway...

Davis was the one who probably got the heat, Gruden wasn't forced to do anything if memory serves me!

Derek Carr reason why Jon Gruden attended Saints’ OTAs

As it turns out, the Saints had a particular reason for wanting Gruden's voice at OTAs- and that reason is Carr.

Saints head coach Dennis Allen spoke to the media on Tuesday, saying that the team brought Gruden to practices to “pick his brain” on Carr, according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN.

“Obviously, Jon's a guy that has a lot of experience with Derek and Derek has had his most success under Jon Gruden.”

What he needs to succeed:

Great O-Line :checkmark:
Great receivers :checkmark:
Great run game :checkmark:
Upper tier defense :checkmark:
Warm weather :checkmark:
Shitty division :checkmark:
Coaches who kiss his ass and never hold him accountable :checkmark: :checkmark:

He'll STILL fold when it matters.

You missed a good FG kicker.

He can't seem to stick it into the end zone...

The saints won 7 games last year with Winston, Siemian and Taylor Hill at QB.

The last 3 years their defense ranked 9th, 4th and 3rd in scoring
