Fact is, the division just got tougher.Dark Horse » Thu Jan 25, 2024 5:56 am
Why is that?mranquales wrote Wed Jan 24, 2024 7:04 pm::rofl: Hope you guys are happy with AP. Raiders are now officially dogshit and will be in the cellar for the next decade.

And you think you spit bars! Wow, who would have know Mack was gonna be a good play? By the way, a 4th rounder cannot be a bust, genius. My analysis over the year stomp a mud hole in yours. Whenever you're ready.mranquales wrote Wed Jan 24, 2024 7:10 pm:Yeah, I'm the guy that claimed
-Justin Ellis was a bust (he was)
-J Bennet is a bust (he is)
-Tyree Wilson is a bust (he is)
-Zamir White can be just as effective as Josh Jacobs behind our OL (he is)
-Khalil Mack would be a superstar (I made that claim when he was a rookie)
-Derek Carr would be our franchise QB (made that claim when he was a rookie and Schaub was our starting QB)
Bottom line, I know what the fuck I'm talking about. Finding some bullshit to nitpick doesn't change the facts. Harbaugh and Andy Reid will keep the Raiders on the bottom in the division.

He forgot to mention his declaration on DeAndre WashingtonSir Raider Duck, OMS wrote Wed Jan 24, 2024 7:25 pm:Justin Ellis was a fourth-round pick who played in 117 NFL games, starting 54 of them, during a nine-year career. Not sure how that qualifies him a "bust" in any sense of the word.
They've just finished their rookie seasons. Any "bust" declarations are premature at best.
Matt Schaub never started a regular season game for the Raiders.
And a lot of us thought Mack would be a superstar.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Not now or ever.

Bisaccia is still walking......and Carr sucks.Twoutrally wrote Thu Jan 25, 2024 2:54 am:Mark Silverspoon Davis goes and gets Mc Bum and lets Basaccia walk. Then he hires AP and lets Harbaugh go to our rival! This guy gets everything wrong and backwards. Harbaugh would’ve turned this team/organization around and built a strong winner and that’s what we needed.!
Al who would’ve never let Harbaugh go to the Chargers is rolling over in his grave especially knowing that Maxx Crosby and the players picked the HC and silverspoon didn’t even interview Harbaugh or Hall of Fame coach Belichick!!!
How incompetent can an owner be? My poor son who is now 12 years old is a raider fan through his dad. I have to show him old-school footage of the Raiders that I grew up with to show him that the Raiders were once a dominant and great team. I watch the games from my Raider man cave with all my old school heroes Stabler , Plunkett, Casper Hendricks, Allen, Woodson, Tatum, Branch, Gannon, Brown….etc that’s what keeps me a loyal raider fan ! Thank goodness I was around to see our glory days.

HarbaughAnonSir Raider Duck, OMS wrote Thu Jan 25, 2024 12:05 am:So you're claiming the Chiefs deliberately threw a game (that had playoff implications) to us so we'd keep Antonio Pierce as our Head Coach?
That's what you're suggesting???

Haha love the optimism, but it ain't like this is the 1976 Raiders. Our D is looking good but the O is badly underperforming. This team needs all the help it can get. The state of the Raiders is going to depend on the OC and QB, and hope the D keeps it up. I think the Bolts might be a well-oiled machine by the end of '24.WolfRaider wrote Thu Jan 25, 2024 5:13 am:When the chargers finish last place in the division and we beat them twice is everyone on here still going to have the same energy?

Ugh. I appreciate all the optimists trying to find faults with Harbough. however the fact is, he's coached for 20 years and only ever had 2 losing seasons, every team he's taken over was in shambles with losing records and he turned them around into powerhouses within 1-2 years.Attyla » Thu Jan 25, 2024 7:26 am
He will have his success, we just have to find our with Pierce.BotesBoats wrote Thu Jan 25, 2024 7:14 am:Ugh. -SDSU (turned them to 11-1 and won a championship)
-Stanford (turned them around from 1-11 to 11-1 3 years later and won an Orange bowl)
-49ers (turned a losing team and took them to the superbowl)
-and Michigan. Was a losing team and won a Championships with them
.....I'm a big fan of Harbough, and hate that he's going to the Chargers. I mean, you have to scratch and claw to try to come up with reasons why he's not going to succeed. I just don't see him not succeeding though.
Good news, is I hate the Chargers less than the Chiefs. I've laughed at the Chargers' poor luck for so long the idea of them winning isn't as sour as the idea of the Chiefs winning another Superbowl.

Obviously harbaugh has a spectacular track record. Andy Reid has a better one. We have to be able to consistently beat good teams regardless of who the coaches are. If we can beat a mahomes led Reid team we should be fine with harbaugh.RI RAIDER » Thu Jan 25, 2024 7:40 am
The point is on paper (which means nothing), the Chargers are the most talented team in the division. Good coaches make a difference (look what Fat Andy immediately did for the Chiefs well before PM). The Chargers have had the worst coaching staff in football. I think (I hope I am wrong) that Jim is going to turn that team around immediately and go upwards from there. I am not a Jim fan boy, but I do not think anyone can argue with his track record.bringdafunk wrote Thu Jan 25, 2024 5:10 am:Chief's had an off year and still walked away with the division. Harbaugh is not going to challenge Reid year one. Not with that cap, and not without significantly altering their strength and conditioning program.
