Not saying he's the next great Raider rb but that's why you don't judge someone who had 17 touches or carries (dont remember which) for his career. I got flamed for pointing that out. Alot on this board had their minds made up on him based on 17 carries his rookie yrRI RAIDER wrote Wed Mar 13, 2024 6:15 am:I thought "Zeus" was more like a cupcake. He really proved me wrong at the end of the year as he looked GREAT. I am still not 100% convinced about him being the answer, but if he is, JJ did us a HUGE favor.

it goes both ways, now he is great based on a few games at the end of the year, one of which was against a team that gave up. If he is the starter this year, and stays healthy, that will give us a far better understanding of his talent level.Hellbound wrote Wed Mar 13, 2024 7:21 am:Not saying he's the next great Raider rb but that's why you don't judge someone who had 17 touches or carries (dont remember which) for his career. What White proved is that he could come into a game and be the main back and move the chains. He did this several times. In fact, he did this every time he was asked to do it. And he did it running for more yards per carry than the guy who was ahead of him on the depth chart. He did it with the same players and same offense.Attyla wrote Wed Mar 13, 2024 7:35 am:it goes both ways, now he is great based on a few games at the end of the year, one of which was against a team that gave up. I need more details on this!GoodTimeCharlie wrote Tue Mar 12, 2024 10:37 pm:Thank you Jacobs for your time in the Silver & Black.
Thank you (I assume) for helping get McD the fuck outta here.
Thank you for being one of the first to say, “What the fuck is up with this shit?” about our previous QB’s shenanigans.
And thank you for busting your ass and playin’ some grown-man ball for us every other year.

Couldn’t agree more. RB by committee and don’t overpay. There’s only so much cash to go around to build a quality team.Willmark wrote Tue Mar 12, 2024 6:03 pm:Sure but overpaying does matter if for no other reason then the cap means a finite amount to build a team with.
At the time (recalling 2017 and 2018) we had a line that was in the Top 3 overall and KO and Jackson were two of the Top 10 paid linemen.

I only root for the Raiders. I wish Jacobs well, but will probably not even follow his stats for his new team. The only time I'll likely see him play is when I'm watching RedZone or a nationally-televised Packers game.GBfan19 wrote Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:10 am:Will you guys root for Jacobs even if he’s a Packer?

Definitely, unless it hurts the Raiders or helps the Chiefs. IMO Jacobs gave us everything he had in practice and in games.GBfan19 wrote Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:10 am:Will you guys root for Jacobs even if he’s a Packer?
