Signing Wilson will not stop the Giants from drafting a qb at #6, Daniel Jones' $47 million cap hit may.Spirit in Black wrote Sat Mar 09, 2024 4:53 pm:Shoot I hope he goes to the Giants. One less team in front of us that needs a QB

Idk. I guess it's possible but there will be elite talent there at 6. At least three of Nabers/Rome/Alt/Bowers will be there. Even though Russ is garbage, signing him may stop the Giants from drafting JJ at 6 with those guys on the board.Trainnvain wrote Sun Mar 10, 2024 5:25 am:Signing Wilson will not stop the Giants from drafting a qb at #6, Daniel Jones' $47 million cap hit may.

I think it depends on what the Giants think of Jones. If the rumors are true that they want to move on from him, then Wilson becomes a stop gap for a year and they draft a qb at 6, assuming they like one that’s available. Or they keep Jones for one more year and draft a qb at 6, passing altogether on Wilson. I think the only way Wilson goes to the Giants is if Jones isn’t healthy to start the year and/ or they offer Wilson a multi year dealBoKnows81 wrote Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:22 am:Idk. Historically, no. Wilson’s career far exceeds the other guy. But now, they are both profoundly self-serving narcissistic myopic cancers no team should deign to subject their team to. I wouldn’t want either on my team for a one buck contract. Gun-to-head though, Wilson.DanKD wrote Sat Mar 09, 2024 9:58 pm:One of these things is not like the other. Wilson has made it two superbowls, winning one and was a stud QB earlier in his career. Carr has never won a playoff game.
Now, Wilson is not near the player he used to be.

i get what you are saying but Wilson has at least shown he can win games that matter. Id take him over Carr for sure but no biggie not getting him.GoodTimeCharlie wrote Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:46 pm:Historically, no. Wilson’s career far exceeds the other guy.
