Wilson was one of my favorite players in the NFL for a while, then he married a psycho and he went down hill from there.mranquales » Mon Mar 04, 2024 4:01 pm
Would love to have him. I think he can get us to the playoffs if he were a starter, the same as AOC.RaiderandBulldog » Mon Mar 04, 2024 5:45 pm
And. Some of you guys were terrified when the Donks signed him'RaiderFan1 » Mon Mar 04, 2024 5:47 pm

If this truly costs the Bronco's 85M to do this, then they are 100M in the hole to the cap... OuchCoach Pappy » Mon Mar 04, 2024 6:19 pm
If the Raiders are able to capitalize on the Bronco's cap issue and can sign Wilson for league minimum with the Broncos paying the rest of what they owe him, they should do it. If this is the case, it would not inhibit the Raiders pursuit of a young QB in the draft, but would rather be a great safety net that would enable them to not have to reach for a QB. They then would have the ability to cur Garoppolo and Renfrow maximizing their cap. They then could spend that cap on OL and DL. Could be a great offseason for the Raiders if all those pieces fall into placeeastcoast128 » Mon Mar 04, 2024 7:08 pm
I’ve never been a Shawn Peyton fan. Not sure how much his genius reputation is his play calling or Brees talent.srv5490 » Mon Mar 04, 2024 7:21 pm
I'm sure they will designate it as post June 1st to spread it out over two seasons. That's almost better, though - they'll be 50M over the cap for 2024 and still have a 50M albatross in 2025.Coach Pappy wrote Mon Mar 04, 2024 6:08 pm:If this truly costs the Bronco's 85M to do this, then they are 100M in the hole to the cap... This has to go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history right? Two 1sts + and 85m in dead cap for two years of losing records. Add in the 1st they traded for Payton almost solely for the purpose of salvaging the Russ trade.Jeevo » Mon Mar 04, 2024 8:01 pm
And 2 seconds and a fourth, a fifth and 3 players. And his new huge extension kicks in the day they release him.raiders93 wrote Mon Mar 04, 2024 7:40 pm:This has to go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history right? We can only hope they trade up for JJ. Part of me worries that they just fully lean into a tank job for 2 years and wind up with arch manning in 2026.

Deshawn Watsons is pretty awful.raiders93 wrote Mon Mar 04, 2024 7:40 pm:This has to go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history right? Watson has a chance to knock the Wilson trade into second place on the all-time worst trade list.rich72 wrote Mon Mar 04, 2024 8:03 pm:Deshawn Watsons is pretty awful.
