Oh and Manfred does not doll out punishment. He merely informs the clubs the determination. and they did punish the Astros, just not to the degree a Dodger fan might like. And this is a Yankees fan talking, we got the business from the Astros that year in the playoffs and you do not find me bitching...
And Landis was the worst commish in baseball history and it is not even close
The Dodgers don't need Bauer. They have the arms necessary and they can always make a splash trade if need be. Even before his troubles with the law, he was a bit disruptive. His antics/attitude on the field can help some teams, but the Dodgers don't need all that extra shit. They can win without it. Bauer doesn't fit the look of this Dodger era.

I still follow and love my Dodgers but I really dont begin to pay close attention until after the All Star break. there is usually a downturn in interest after a labor dispute. But baseball to me is right up there with football. There are just a lot of games so each individual game has less significance.
