The two years referenced where Jenkins had good run D grades he played a little over half the games and had 400 snaps combined. He was a good run stuffer, and now he's unreliable and aging. This is not an important signing and it's one where we should hope he is beaten out for a roster spot. Even he probably knows that, and he's probably just going to end up happy collecting a small signing bonus and some workout bonuses, because he's never really been paid much over his entire career. If he provides some mentoring and leadership to some young guys then that's a bonus.

He could be one of those guys that seems to hang around a roster never playing many snaps just for the ability to mentor young guys Neil Farrell & Matthew Butler which wouldn't be a bad thing

Although he most likely wont make the roster & may just be an insurance policy incase they have there eye on a young NT like Siaki Ika, Mazi Smith or a late round guy like Keondre Coburn but dont land him

Adam Butler is the guy who interests me most in our group of DT’s as only a few year ago he had 6 & 4 sack seasons if we can get him back to that kind of form then we could be improved, the same goes for Tillery as well they have shown previous they can get it done

This could be a pre-camp signing only. Veteran presence to be IRed, placed on the practice squad or cut.
