Great, no head scratching 1st round pick for the first time in a while.CWood24 » Fri Apr 28, 2023 12:21 am
Simply easy pick i would say midling floor very high ceilingIvanavich » Fri Apr 28, 2023 1:39 am
I have Wilson listed as a bust. But maybe my opinion is a little harsh. I don't believe that he is an end, but he might be a tackle in a passing situation package.WolfRaider » Fri Apr 28, 2023 1:51 am
Love it. One of the highest upsides in the draft.MaulerRaiderz » Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:00 am
Tyree Wilson has all the traits you can't teach: size, arm lenght, explosiveness, speed and power. The question is IF the Raiders can develop him to reach his full potential, which is pro bowler type defensive end.Ivanavich » Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:17 am
You missed the report that at least 1 team took him off their board and that his foot is a mangled mess which might need more surgery to fix. Somebody else will give the source.MaulerRaiderz wrote Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:00 am:Tyree Wilson has all the traits you can't teach: size, arm lenght, explosiveness, speed and power. About injuries... How many players will miss the season because of injury during camp, pre-season or first half of the regular season? It happens every year. Football is a dangerous sport and one foot injury doesn't make you injury prone.

If his foot was "a mangled mess" more than one team would have noticed, including the Raiders. We passed on Jalen Carter for character concerns, we are clearly not afraid of passing on very talented players if we feel they might not play. The best ability is availability.Ivanavich wrote Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:17 am:You missed the report that at least 1 team took him off their board and that his foot is a mangled mess which might need more surgery to fix. Wilson was considered a top 5 pick. Local sports books favored Wilson to be the 2nd pick overall to go in the draft.
