Some people just want to talk about Carr..... so now you'll see his thread in the Raider Forum topic list. If your brilliant post about Carr without a hint of Garoppolo in the Garoppolo thread seems like it vanished, you can post it again in this thread and get your post count up. Win Win. Wait, I probably shouldn't say "win-win" in the Carr thread......Rainman56 » Sat May 27, 2023 3:14 pm

I for one do not care enough to just take cheap shots at him. In the context of the Raiders or his time with the team, I am not opposed to the various comments. Much like Gannon or any other former player on the team. If it makes sense contextually, I can comment on him, but just insulting to insult? He is not a Raider and while I am glad he is no longer one, I don't have that level of interest in him just to take shots.chucker wrote Sat May 27, 2023 5:45 am:Some people just want to talk about Carr..... so now you'll see his thread in the Raider Forum topic list. That division isn't going to be as easy as most people think for the Saints to win. The Falcons have some good talent with either Ridder/Heineken starting. Arthur Smith always has a good ground game & now has Bijon Robinson to go with Cordarelle Patterson. Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Mack Hollins, Jonnu Smith. On defense Bud Dupree, Grady Jarrett, AJ Terrelle, Jessie Bates. They were in most games last year with Mariota.16 to 88 » Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:46 pm

We play the Saints next year in New Orleans and if he is still a Saint, I will not be heading down. I have no interest in seeing him play again. If he is not a Saint (unlikely) I might just to enjoy the town. I had two opportunities to see him play last year, and elected not to bother. Both games would have pissed me off knowing the amount of money I would have spent to see him shit the bed. Since I watched his games from the confines of my couch, I could not even muster up enough emotion over his play to even get angry. That is what he has done to me as far as watching the team.
So, if relevant, I will comment where appropriate, if not, it is not worth the time. This post was relevant so it was worth it.

We did a game in ATL a few years back, old stadium. Had a good time until the game where we got beat to hell. I would go back to see the new stadium but that town has the absolute worst freeway system I have ever seen. I think we ended up being in traffic for almost 3 hours before we got the hell out of there.16 to 88 wrote Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:49 pm:I'll be your huckleberry.
The Atlanta Falcons would like to welcome you!
Thanks for choosing our division Derek!

We talked about the defense during his reign over the team, and while it was bad, the scoring offense was bottom third. And a lot of that falls on the QB. Points per game during that span allowed on defense? 24.6 Points per game on offense during that span? 21.3. FYI on defense, points allowed ranked us 25th.16 to 88 » Tue Jun 06, 2023 10:02 pm

it was nuts. They had a freak ice storm a few years back, people thought it would be OK to go to work, because the forecast was so iffy of what was coming. 1200 accidents and people stranded in their cars, some over night. The city is so poorly laid out that help was drastically delayed. Buddy of mine lived down there and was one of those who were stranded. He moved within months after that.16 to 88 wrote Tue Jun 06, 2023 10:02 pm:3 hours is crazy. Wow.

I was watching a recent carr video and they questioned him about bringing in Gruden, and I have to say Carr is kind of creepy with all of his preachy BS. In his first couple of years he acted normal when doing interviews, now hes acting like hes some discount Billy Graham.
