I asked in off topic and got a partial answer but what’s up with an entire thread disappearing? I don’t always agree but I can understand why a truly offensive or vulgar post gets deleted......I don’t always agree but can understand why a thread gets locked up......but I think we are in new territory where an entire thread actually disappears. Not locked, not moved to 4th and 48......just deleted. To what end is that?Xramfan » Thu Jun 10, 2021 7:57 am
I take it you do not have an answer either? No biggie really just curious. Seems oddJRaider17 wrote Wed Jun 09, 2021 8:30 pm:Whats the big issue with a thread being deleted?

The way I see it, the mod thought the thread would not get back on track and would only spiral into more trouble. So instead of waiting around to police that, he deleted it and its history so no one can still view it and build off on it somewhere else.chucker » Thu Jun 10, 2021 8:43 pm
The thread I believe you are talking about was created for a political discussion, which you clearly want to happen. It's against site rules, which you know. The thread creator also knew it, thus it was deleted instead of locked. If you want to discuss politics on the internet, go ahead, just not here. Create your own site. Create your own Discord for it and invite all your cohorts here to join. Just don't do it here. It's not complicated. It's actually really easy.Xramfan wrote Thu Jun 10, 2021 7:57 am:I take it you do not have an answer either? No biggie really just curious. Seems odd

ya'll are worried about a couple posts vanishing, I have a book full of posts deleted and I aint complaining. Hell, I am personally responsible for more threads being locked than all you guys combined. you hear me complain? I have zero control over this stuff so complaining about something i cannot control, i cannot influence a change in the rules and i cannot get around is mostly useless and at times actually funny. Moving on would seem to make the most sense.Xramfan » Mon Jun 14, 2021 10:05 pm
Funny. Any time I have seen a post removed, or a thread locked........your name isn't front and center. Love ya Attyla but your name is not on the top list of removed posts or threads from what I have seen. Your above post seems.....weird and irrelevant and self centered don't you think? But you be you my man............Attyla wrote Mon Jun 14, 2021 4:06 pm:ya'll are worried about a couple posts vanishing, I have a book full of posts deleted and I aint complaining. check with the mods, they can tell you how many posts they have deleted of mine and how many threads I have personally been involved in getting lockedXramfan wrote Mon Jun 14, 2021 10:05 pm:Funny. I don't believe I stated anywhere about "freedoms being infringed".....I asked about locked vs deletion etc. Anyhoo if this thread gets locked it is because question was asked and answered.Attyla wrote Tue Jun 15, 2021 4:13 am:check with the mods, they can tell you how many posts they have deleted of mine and how many threads I have personally been involved in getting locked
and no, it was not self centered, it was more about "if anyone should have the right to complain but doesn't give a fuck...."
but keep feeling like your freedoms are being infringed upon LOL
