How many concussions did he have? Is he addicted to drugs? This would be bizarre, irrational behavior.LaRaider2010 wrote Sat Jun 16, 2018 1:15 am:Mods hopefully you can keep this in this main forum for a day or so before moving... Sad stuff
Charges: Winslow Jr. allegedly targeted elderly women
Originally posted on Sportsnaut | By Vincent Frank | Last updated 6/15/18
The story of former Cleveland Browns first-round pick Kellen Winslow Jr. is almost too unbearable and disgusting to comprehend.
On Thursday, the 34-year-old former NFL tight end was arrested and charged with multiple counts of kidnapping and sexual assault. The details we had at that point were just mind-boggling (more on that here).
We’re now hearing more about the specifics coming from San Diego, especially as it pertains to the criminal complaint filed against Winslow Jr. And it’s even more disturbing.
According to the The San Diego Union-Tribune, the complaint against Winslow Jr. indicates that he targeted elderly women multiple times. This includes the following allegations.
“Kidnap, rape and forced oral copulation of a 54-year-old woman in March. Kidnap, rape and sodomy of a 59-year-old woman in May. Indecent exposure in May. Burglary with the intent to rape a 71-year-old woman in June. Burglary with the intent to rape an 86-year-old woman also in June.”
It goes without saying that Winslow Jr. faces life in prison if convicted on the charges. He’s set to face arraignment in San Diego on Friday.
If these allegations are proven true, there’s a special place down under for the former NFLer.

Very sad his life spiraled down so far. I live near him and happen to run into him one day about 5 years ago when he got a flat tire on his rode bike. He had no idea how to fix it so I stopped and fixed it and we chatted about football for about 30 minutes. Mentioned how he always wanted to play for the raiders and even tried out for them. Seemed extremely nice.toobscruiser » Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:59 am
He’s an odd duck for sureBoKnows81 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 8:42 am

They should just take him to a court house right now. Try him. Convict him. Then take him out back and put a bullet through his head....MurdersRow » Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:20 am
The only sadness should be for the victims. Winslow is just another POS, no better than any of the others already in prison for doing this. The legal system cares not how many concussions you've had or which drugs you decided to take.AutumnWind32 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:24 am
This was my initial reaction, but then I had to wonder whether damage to his brain from football played a role. It’s always a legit question with stories this bizarre.MurdersRow wrote Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:20 am:The only sadness should be for the victims. If football is causing things like this, then it's clearly time to make football illegal. At minimum, the NFL should be held responsible to some degree. I don't think that's the case though. I think it's far more likely that KWJr is just a piece of garbage.AutumnWind32 wrote Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:24 am:This was my initial reaction, but then I had to wonder whether damage to his brain from football played a role. That being said the women are the victims here

there is no evidence that playing football would cause the actions on the part of Winslow. You cannot blame concussions when there is no reported link between concussions and deviate sexual behavior.Ivanavich » Sat Jun 16, 2018 10:14 am
We live in a society where everybody is a victim.AutumnWind32 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 10:23 am
That’s very possible but at the least it begs the question. Especially for a guy with no history (at least that I’m aware of). This is the most extreme of bizarre behaviorSLVR and Black wrote Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:33 am:If football is causing things like this, then it's clearly time to make football illegal.
