He's a Cleveland Brown wish the Raiders would be this aggressiveHITMAN » Mon Feb 11, 2019 11:44 am
I don't think it's an issue of being aggressive, as much as it is not wanting the baggage that comes with it... sometimes it's best to avoid this type of publicity and backlash... talent or no-talent.NewarkRaider62 wrote Mon Feb 11, 2019 11:28 am:He's a Cleveland Brown wish the Raiders would be this aggressive

Browns had the inside track seeing Dorsey drafted him. Since money doesn’t factor in the Raiders don’t have much they could offer and I imagine running behind a Tom Cable offensive line is not a strong selling point.EaglevShark » Mon Feb 11, 2019 12:16 pm
Not disagreeing with the baggage angle but that’s real rich coming from a team who doesn’t (or didn’t) know were they were gonna play in 2019.26 docofdeath » Tue Feb 12, 2019 5:35 am
Not a bad pickup when you consider he'll play his ass off after the suspension, and they will only have to pay him for four or six games. down side is if he plays well and stays out of trouble he will ask for a big contract in 2020.chucker » Tue Feb 12, 2019 6:43 am
I'm not sure what his contract looks like now, but I'd assume it's a one year deal. Regardless, he'll be a RFA in 2020, not a UFA, so they can easily slap a first round tender on him and get him for a little more than $4 million, or get a first rounder as compensation if someone signs him to an offer sheet they decide not to match.26 docofdeath wrote Tue Feb 12, 2019 5:35 am:Not a bad pickup when you consider he'll play his ass off after the suspension, and they will only have to pay him for four or six games. down side is if he plays well and stays out of trouble he will ask for a big contract in 2020.

No the Raiders back-field is a bad place. Our RB's suck. Just look at Clevelands RB's compared to ours....Ivanavich wrote Tue Feb 12, 2019 12:13 am:Who cares? Hunt is in a bad place, that's why the Chiefs cut him. Some Raiders fans don't get it.

Hunt got a new deal that, while still not great by NFL standards due to the wage scale for players with his experience level, still pays him more than his Chiefs' deal. We really punished him by not claiming him on waivers?Sea of Hands » Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:15 am
We missed our chance here. I think comments by Mark Davis steered us away from claiming him. Bummer...beastmode24 » Fri Feb 15, 2019 4:28 am
this is why we won't win, talents trump good character
