He's gonna do what's in his best interest and that's as it should be.Sold My Soul wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 7:27 am:If he is unwilling to hang around the team, unfollow on social, what leads us to believe he won't be a dick and not agree to any trade just to stiff the Raiders for "doing him wrong"?

But they love a QB that plays scared.

Carr unfollowed the Raiders on Twitter .GoodTimeCharlie » Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:41 am
I assume that’s because the “McNickname” folk don’t want to sully the good name of that fine dining establishment.Raider727 wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:29 am:Surprised no one has used McDonald's

Good. Clearly not a Raider for life and I expect he's realized he has to move on to a new team.HesterLayes wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:34 am:Carr unfollowed the Raiders on Twitter .

If there was a "list" of biggest dicks of the RF, Chucker would definitely be #1. Sadly I still haven't made a list yet...Attyla wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 7:42 am:nobody is a bigger dick than chucker

This kind of thing happened on a weekly basis. Glad he's done.Opoponax50 wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:18 am:Oof.
That one's a serious gut punch. But it's typical for Carr.
Our FO needs not concern itself about whether or not it finally made the right decision on Carr. Clearly it did.

Came across this on Twitter, a response from an AP Las Vegas sports reporter to our favorite guy who still owes us all PREMIUM t-shirts. Interesting since there’s a PR/spin war being fought over who told who to go home.srv5490 » Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:16 pm
I think the chances of trading Carr are pretty low, given his current contract. I assume that if the Raiders trade him before the guarantees kick in, those guarantees transfer to his new team. What team is going to guarantee him $40 million? It's going to be very similar to the Garoppolo situation for the 49ers last year, but with a much narrower window to operate in.GoodTimeCharlie » Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:32 pm
Our asses are hangin’ WAY out over the fire on this one. The only chance we have to lock in a trade is if at least 2 teams are dead-set on acquiring him, and neither wants to get all swingin-dick to aquire him as a FA.srv5490 wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:16 pm:I think the chances of trading Carr are pretty low, given his current contract. I'm sure that there are teams that would be interested in him as a free agent, but I doubt there are any that would be willing to pay anything close to the terms of his current contract. It's not like we're the only ones that have any insight into his weaknesses.
I'm also not sure Carr would be willing to take much of a pay cut. I would be very surprised if he took a small, one year deal like Garoppolo did this year. I just don't think he is as driven as many of the other QBs out there. That's a big part of his issues, IMO.

My guess is that the Raiders would love for Carr to be a team first guy and support Stidham, but gave him the option of running home and getting cuddled by Darren and he chose comfort over his teammates. And remember, supporting Stidham means also putting his buddies Adams, Renfrow and Waller a better opportunity to succeed so it's not just about helping the guy who's replacing him.NumbersForTheBreak wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 2:48 pm:Came across this on Twitter, a response from an AP Las Vegas sports reporter to our favorite guy who still owes us all PREMIUM t-shirts. Waller in that list sounds wild to me. Hell, even Jacobs does but that at least makes some sense.Attyla wrote Sat Dec 31, 2022 4:47 pm:FYI Carr, Jacobs and Waller jerseys being sold at 50% off at the team store
