0 chance Carr makes that play.rich72 » Sun Jan 01, 2023 9:19 pm
That would depend on what we get in return. I trust them though to do whatever they can to get whatever they can get.HesterLayes wrote Sun Jan 01, 2023 9:45 am:Knew he wouldn’t retire, always thought that talk was poo.
He won’t be cut,he will approve a trade.
No way he would make more in FA than he will with that contract.
Raiders may have to have to pay some of it to make it more attractive, but that’s ok

I'm sorry. I've been watching the Raiders since Jim Plunkett was our Quarterback. I know Carr hasn't been great. I do believe however that he put everything into the Raiders. He was never our best quarterback, but he always loved being a Raider. I dont know how many coaches he's gone through, but I believe it's plenty. I just wish the best for him in his future. But to see all the hate for a player that gave his best is truly frustrating. You can say whatever tou want about Derek, but I'm satisfied that he gave it all he had..bringdafunk » Sun Jan 01, 2023 9:37 pm
Anyone who hates Carr takes this game way too seriously. Anyone who stops being a fan because he is gone also has issues. The bottom line is Mark and the GM do not want to go into each season scrapping for a WC playoff spot where 6 other teams need to win or lose to get a spot. Carr will never be on Herbert's or Mahomes' level, and that means it's time to go. This is a business, and the business statement is to win championships. I thank him for being a mostly classy Raider, but I am glad he is gone.rdr43vr » Sun Jan 01, 2023 9:54 pm
I think he successfully managed to sucker many fools with victim mentality and lip service. Coupled with showing flashes here and there but never doing enough to achieve anything of value, he clearly overstayed his welcome.Sold My Soul » Sun Jan 01, 2023 10:00 pm

If I’m the RaIders counsel in this case, I’d like to thank and excuse Mr. Carr. He’s dismissed.Kienic » Sun Jan 01, 2023 10:15 pm
He's like that worker that we all know, who's buried up the bosses ass while the rest of the employees slave away, do extra when required, do the job right for little or no extra gratitude and he goes around with his head up in the air thinking the place can't run without him and it's the good employees who leave due to the dysfunction.Jeremyturner1976 » Sun Jan 01, 2023 10:21 pm
I know we didn't win much, but anything less than a SuperBowl means nothing anyhow.16 to 88 » Sun Jan 01, 2023 11:11 pm
Very well stated and I agree.bringdafunk wrote Sun Jan 01, 2023 9:37 pm:Anyone who hates Carr takes this game way too seriously. Anyone who stops being a fan because he is gone also has issues. Yes, definitely a breath of fresh air.signal wrote Sun Jan 01, 2023 5:41 pm:Now that is a leader.
I did not miss watching our QB point fingers every time something went wrong. It is great to see a QB who holds himself accountable. You need that in the locker room and on the field.
