It's going to be sooooo cold in KC for the game. Why does the NFL have a cold weather game as the night game when they play in Houston in the afternoon? Even on a cold day, it's much better before the sun goes down. I went to a Grey Cup game in Saskatchewan and it was so damn cold by game time even though it was bearable all day. Cheap tickets if anyone wants to go watch the Dolphins practice squad defense try to beat the Chiefs in the cold.RaiderandBulldog » Fri Jan 12, 2024 9:26 am
Too bad that game is on Peacock. I hope NFL fans boycott that game and give it record lows to kill the streaming exclusives games in the future.raider_kin » Fri Jan 12, 2024 10:09 am
A healthy Dolphins team would have big trouble with this cold.chucker wrote Fri Jan 12, 2024 8:31 am:It's going to be sooooo cold in KC for the game. We can assume the timing of the games is to accommodate the Peacock arrangement which is worth a HUGE amount of money to the league.chucker » Fri Jan 12, 2024 10:20 am
I really like Stafford, and he's played great this year. But I really want to see Goff take the revenge game.RunOverByHubbard wrote Fri Jan 12, 2024 10:18 am:We can assume the timing of the games is to accommodate the Peacock arrangement which is worth a HUGE amount of money to the league.
CBS Sportswriter ranks the game for interest like this (and I agree with Lions/Rams as very intriguing- and go Lions):

Chucker, you know very well that I hate the Chiefs as much as anyone. But I do not feel one bit of sympathy for the Dolphins. Every season, those fuckers enjoy a huge home field advantage early on given that the Dolphin sideline is in the shadows while the opponents are smoldering in the blazing sun on their sidelines and forced to play with their full colored home jerseys on the road to boot. So, maybe it was the sly football gods telling the Dolphins...you want shade, well you got a whole bunch of it in this night game.chucker wrote Fri Jan 12, 2024 8:31 am:It's going to be sooooo cold in KC for the game. I don't feel sorry for the Dolphins eithers. I think it would be more rewarding to watch Chief fans show up and freeze their asses off to watch their team lose though.signal wrote Fri Jan 12, 2024 10:21 am:Chucker, you know very well that I hate the Chiefs as much as anyone. That said, I hope the Chiefs fans freeze their fucking butts off and the Chiefs get destroyed.

Buffalo is gonna be a fun weather game too. It's colder here than at any of the games so I'll probably be stuck inside watching all the games.Atlasffa » Fri Jan 12, 2024 2:15 pm
The Bills have moved games due to snow in the past. In 2014, Buffalo’s matchup against the New York Jets was moved to Detroit’s Ford Field due to severe weather. If changing the venue is not logistically possible, one potential option could be moving the game to Monday or even Tuesday, which the NFL did in 2021 after a surge of COVID-19 cases.
The Steelers (10-7) head into Sunday’s matchup riding a three-game winning streak while the Bills (11-6) are also riding a hot streak — winners of their last five games and six of their last seven.
