But... But... Dubow is a cheeto eating, pimple faced, mama's basement dwelling, Raider hating, D & D playing, no life, no account bum according to Carr fans. Only one thing they can't call him. WRONG. Must be frustrating.GoodTimeCharlie wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 3:28 pm:Hot damn. Dubow has amazing stats that put facts and numbers to the sick loathing and discomfort I feel when thinking of Carr.

I do believe that’s a psychological defense mechanism known as “projection”.Amish Cabal wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:35 pm:But... But... Does anyone think being 31 has put Carr on the decline?Opoponax50 » Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:57 pm
He's definitely lost something on the long ball. It began happening last year when he started throwing those balloon balls where before he could put a 40 yarder on a line. It was so bad I wondered if he had an injury to his throwing shoulder that wasn't being disclosed. Now though, even his short-ball placement isn't what it used to be. He's throwing hospital balls rather than throwing low. He's throwing high on short, outside passes too.Jeremyturner1976 wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:43 pm:Does anyone think being 31 has put Carr on the decline?
He used to throw a hell of a football, but watching these games he can't even do that anymore.
I know it seems early in age, but those results are irrefutable. The dude is throwing like Trubisky out there.
Sub 62% completions after 4 years of 68% or better.

It is like watching a different QB to me. I saw him throw Davante wide by 3 yards on a pass to the flat - with noone near him. Davante couldn't even get fingertips on it.Opoponax50 wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:57 pm:He's definitely lost something on the long ball. He's definitely lost significant zip on the ball.

I agree, that is what I am trying to figure out though.tactician wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 7:34 pm:
No one loses their arm at 31. A lot of QB's play their best ball in their 30's.

Agree on Carr being off. If you go back what about 10 games? He’s on maybe his worst 10-11 game streak of his career. He’s usually a mixed between elite, average and bad. He’s just been bad to average. We have seen elite Carr in a long timeHesterLayes » Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:28 pm
Do you think a team like the Giants would trade for Carr?BluegrassRaider » Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:55 pm
When is the last time the out wasn't a dead quail asking to be a pick six? Like 2015?Jeremyturner1976 wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:43 pm:Does anyone think being 31 has put Carr on the decline?

Yes carr can throw the ball to where ever you tell him to throw it.BluegrassRaider wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:55 pm:When is the last time the out wasn't a dead quail asking to be a pick six? Like 2015?
Guys are always going on about him being able to make all the throws but is that even true at least practically and in the heat of a game CONSISTENTLY?
Magic 8 Ball says...meh.

It's not an easy throw what he did. But he didn't have to do it that way. He had plenty of yards in front of him with no defenders close and he could have and should have taken two steps forward and stepped into the throw...and that would have made the throw a lot easier mechanics wise. But carr being carr he does that and makes a stupid and weak throw.NoThanksSir wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:28 pm:I'm gonna push back on this one. This throw is the new expectation for top tier QBs, and Carr is consistently paid like one. It's not an easy throw, but it's a throw he should make considering he is our highest paid player and has teacher's tenure when it comes to job security. He's simply not that good. If he were, he would make those.
