unfortunate for us that he played his best ball in college.tactician wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 7:34 pm:
No one loses their arm at 31. A lot of QB's play their best ball in their 30's.

The day will come within the next few years when most Raiders fans (and front office) will look back and say "I can't believe we held onto that guy for that long". He is not the only problem, but he sure isn't the answer.rich72 » Tue Sep 27, 2022 2:37 pm
I would love to hear a heated Argument between Stephan A Smith and Kat Williams. It would be hillarious to hear.Amish Cabal wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 11:54 am:Lol Keyshawn... yeah, it's that darn mystique (been lost for decades), it's the colors and that pirate on the helmet making Derek look like a bad QB. LMAO What an ass kisser.
On another note, that dad-gum Stephen A is at it again.

Lol, embarrassing man. Carr's gonna take Adam's career down with his. All the pressure of expectations is getting to Carr, he has no more excuses.Raider727 wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 3:19 pm:https://twitter.com/RDR_RAIDER/status/1 ... wEVhe1C67gScreenshot_20220926-164211_Instagram.jpg

You know someone in the league office probably suckered him into hiring McDaniels and his gm buddy. Deal came out of nowhere and closed real fast. Now all of sudden the media is remembering McDaniels horrible stint in Denver and that stunt he pulled with the colts.Amish Cabal wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 4:36 pm:Mental midget just like our owner.

I'm seeing the same thing you are - I guess a lot of us are. My take, however, is that it isn't because he's geeking out, it's because he's become overly enamored with the "cool" flick of the wrist throw. I see him doing this in warmups, training camp clips, and in game situations in which it is totally not necessary. I don't know if he sees Mahomes throwing odd-angle throws and is trying to emulate him, but Mahomes has a lot more insight when to use different techniques due to his baseball background.Attyla wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 8:42 am:from my vantage point, his arm talent is still there. However, he relies on that arm talent way too much. It is like he gets geeked up when he sees a chance for a long strike so his mechanics go to shit from the waist down. He rarely steps into those throws and lofts it all from his shoulder. He seems to not realize setting his feet and using his hips in those throws not only gets the accuracy improved, but allows for more zip on the ball on a lower arc.

Fuck all the sports psychology bullshit. Carr sucks, you can see it on film. If it was year one then it’s a fun and interesting conversation about why he sucks and how it can be fixed. But alas, it’s year nine, he stills sucks, and we have to watch him Sunday after Sunday after Sunday.srv5490 wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 5:07 pm:I'm seeing the same thing you are - I guess a lot of us are. I was always super careful when I coached throws with different arm slots and weight distribution in softball and baseball. My older daughter fell in love with some the "cool" mechanics when her HS coach worked on it with her, but she was a shortstop and shouldn't be using them in most situations. So, I made sure that my players know that we only use these mechanics in very specific situations, and that we always want to make sure that we get our hips lined up and drive our lower body to the target in the majority of situations.
