Dump Carr, trade up for young, and use that 40 mil on the OL and defense.easy peezy lolRaidernation1979 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:25 am:Lamar is an electrifying player no doubt. I think it would be easier to go with a rookie and add a piece or 2 on the line if needed then to get and pay Lamar. This season specifically it would work. But moving forward I expect we will at least be avg in the RT spot. The rest of the line is solid if unspectacular.

That’s why i’m starting to like KJ Jefferson because he can create on the fly & when he starts running you better get truck to stop himAttyla wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 8:35 am:I am going to go total rogue on this one.
Imagine Lamar Jackson with our weapons. We would not have fix a damn thing with the line, he is best when he is creating on the fly. His accuracy is a bit below what I would want but with our weapons it might go up. He is gonna cost way more than we can afford but what an amazing talent he could be. He is not the style of QB I like, but our line is exactly the weakness he could overcome.

lamar would be amazing, but i have a feeling he isn’t ever leaving Baltimore.get Young and use all that extra cap to build up the teamCWood24 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:42 am:That’s why i’m starting to like KJ Jefferson because he can create on the fly & when he starts running you better get truck to stop him
Lamar in our offence i’d love to see as well

People might be overrating Young compared to other QB’s in this draft & IMO he isnt worth throwing a multitude of picks at especially in this draft as this QB class is deep with talentHesterLayes wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:29 am:Dump Carr, trade up for young, and use that 40 mil on the OL and defense.easy peezy lol

He better hope he doesnt get injured running around. Its a hell of a gamble.HesterLayes wrote Tue Sep 20, 2022 5:17 pm:Yeah they can franchise him the next two seasons.
He turned down a huge contract because it wasn’t fully guaranteed like Watson.
Interesting that he represents himself

Why do you think McD would prefer Levis?CWood24 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:48 am:People might be overrating Young compared to other QB’s in this draft & IMO he isnt worth throwing a multitude of picks at especially in this draft as this QB class is deep with talent
Levis would more than likely be McD’s type of QB

They’re not playing anyone,but Young and Levi’s having monster gamesRaidernation1979 » Sat Sep 24, 2022 7:23 pm
I watched the kentucky game and man. Levis was hit constantly and flushed. His line played worse than ours has by a wide margin. He also had 2 passes dead in the hands dropped that would have added another 100+ and 1-2 TDs. One turned into a FG and the other turned into a RB fumble on the next play that let NIU tie the game before halfHesterLayes wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 6:59 pm:They’re not playing anyone, but Young and Levi’s having monster games

Number 8 team shouldn’t struggle against Northern Illinois.that’s badRaidernation1979 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 7:23 pm:I watched the kentucky game and man. Levis was hit constantly and flushed. I am not a kentucky fan. I watched because of my interest in Levis. Watching it, it never felt like they struggled. The score was certainly closer than the game. Though I agree they should have won by a larger margin. Like I said 2 dropped passes really changed the landscape. One being end of first half. Would have been 20+ easily. Next play was big run that was fumbled and gave niu ball inside the 30. Kentucky was on clock mode with 8 minutes to go in the 4th.HesterLayes wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 7:41 pm:Number 8 team shouldn’t struggle against Northern Illinois.that’s bad

How’s he look in the pocket? How’s the arm?Raidernation1979 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 7:52 pm:I am not a kentucky fan. I watched because of my interest in Levis. Honestly he rarely had a pocket. This line was bad. But he was a playmaker. But he navigated it well with the pressure he was facing to get the ball off. His arm is good. He’s a big guy and runs hard. Several 3rd and 1 qb sneaks right behind center for 3-5 yards. He had 1 throw that wasn’t great but hard to tell if it was him or a miscommunication with receiver. The rest were solid throws with good ball placement. Guys were able to keep running with it. No hospital balls. Audibles at the line of scrimmage. The announcers one being Brock osweiller were talking about the pro offense he runs and he will be a day 1 starterHesterLayes wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 7:58 pm:How’s he look in the pocket? Nice. I’m a Young fan,but Levi’s sounds intriguing from everything I’ve read. He’s on my short list now.Reminds me of Josh Allen who didn’t put up gaudy numbers at Wyoming but had all the toolsRaidernation1979 wrote Sat Sep 24, 2022 8:20 pm:Honestly he rarely had a pocket.
