I’m not one of those guys that acts like he knows every kid.I’m more of an SEC guy and don’t catch a lot of west coast because of the time difference and life activities.haji81872 wrote Thu Jan 26, 2023 7:59 pm:How about Tanner McKee in the second?

From what I read on McKee yes Stanford wasn’t very talented. Also the scheming didn’t fit his style. He seems like a Tom Brady type qb. Can maneuver in the pocket but not grest athleticism. Great arm though… apparently.HesterLayes » Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:57 pm
He is a big boy and Stanford has put out a couple decent ones lolDarthRaider wrote Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:55 pm:From what I read on McKee yes Stanford wasn’t very talented. Is he tough? A leader? Anti-cry baby? That’s what I want.DarthRaider wrote Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:55 pm:From what I read on McKee yes Stanford wasn’t very talented. He has to be tough, apparently he overcame Cancer and something else I do believe I read. The other stuff I’m not actually sure, will have to read further myself.HesterLayes wrote Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:57 pm:He is a big boy and Stanford has put out a couple decent ones lol
I’m going to research him.The numbers against some good PAC teams weren’t great though.

A link to his stats this year…unimpressive as hell.DarthRaider » Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:28 pm
That bucsreport link… that’s what I’ve read. He had a poor supporting cast but played in a pro style offense so his transition should be easy. His upside is unknown. But so was Tom Brady’shaji81872 » Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:11 pm
Stanford's receiving group was terrible. They could not get open on their own. I mean they were as bad as anywhere.HesterLayes » Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:19 pm
Thanks. Schroeder has a ring..haji81872 wrote Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:11 pm:Stanford's receiving group was terrible. They could not get open on their own. I mean they were as bad as anywhere.
That being said, he has a bit of Jay Schroeder to him. Rocket arm. No touch. Throw laser 30 yards away. Has trouble throwing a pass to the back out of the backfield. However he is way smarter than Jay ever was. His delivery is a little long , but that can be fixed.
His mechanics with his hands and feet are good and he can take off when the pocket collapses. I think he moves better than people give him credit for. He isn't going to rush for a hundred yards, but he isn't a statue either.
Very accurate, puts the ball in the right spot, goes through his progressions, doesn't make bad decisions.
Not a great athlete and not much upside. A high floor low ceiling guy.
