If we end up trading out and swapping picks with WAS, I think Robinson might end up being our pick. This board would go mad, but I would love it16 to 88 » Tue Mar 21, 2023 4:33 pm
If he's there at 10 the eagles will take him.BoJacksonRules wrote Tue Mar 21, 2023 3:48 pm:If we end up trading out and swapping picks with WAS, I think Robinson might end up being our pick. This board would go mad, but I would love it

I would be kind of annoyed if we got an edge rusher at 7. Chandler jones may still be able to bounce back and we have more pressing needs on defense than an extra edge rusher. I keep seeing us getting mocked either an Edge or QB in mock drafts lately.Willmark » Tue Mar 21, 2023 5:53 pm
The other interesting trend I'm seeing is Young dropping as Richardson rises.BoJacksonRules wrote Tue Mar 21, 2023 3:48 pm:If we end up trading out and swapping picks with WAS, I think Robinson might end up being our pick. This board would go mad, but I would love it

Here is a sample of (ignoring as much as possible) my own biases and trying for defense and then BPA, avoiding all trades offered. With 12 picks we have the potential to fill a lot of holes,GUYDON » Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:46 pm
You could take any number 1 CB from the draft or FA and he would be insta-trash with the raiders. The raiders used to be a DB factory, for those that remember. The league put rules in place to take that away. Now the refs jist run next to our corners with their flags out. We will NEVER fix this defense with corners. Or any db for that matter. Our only chance is to stop plays before they start.Willmark » Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:50 pm
If we could pull this one off? I'd go for it.HesterLayes » Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:52 pm
Rodriguez is a very good back I must admit. Some interesting ones on this draft. I will support anyone we draft as always, but I’m hoping someone takes Levis before usWillmark wrote Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:50 pm:If we could pull this one off? I'd go for it.

Looking at the sims there has to be some amount of randomization built in as well. As consistently as I'm seeing Young drop? Meyer is always around #22. IF we could get him at #38 I don't think anyone would be complaining.
I'm guessing the grading system also accounts for need (it has to as a parameter) and grades regardless of drop a higher weighting towards need.

As a note as far as the draft? Each time I run these the "value" isn't there for where we are picking. By that I mean we would be reaching nearly every time as LB isn't that highly valued.GUYDON wrote Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:46 pm:You could take any number 1 CB from the draft or FA and he would be insta-trash with the raiders. 3 stud linebackers, pile movers up front amd get another pass rusher to compliment Maxx. I would stay with average DBs because even if they are great they will look like shit on the Raiders by design.

Yesterday I focused on skipping him and did a bunch with us avoiding any Offense in the first 4 picks. These ones tonight are examples and Young is there each time @ pick 7 to do so.HesterLayes wrote Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:52 pm:Rodriguez is a very good back I must admit. Its largely immaterial as it would need to be run several thousand times for it to really mean anything.

There are a bunch of others out there.
