Well they say it's in the top 100, and that is still much lower viewership than they have had in the past aprox 18.7 million, their 3rd lowest ever.signal wrote Thu Feb 01, 2024 10:33 am:Yes the NFL dominates viewership.
That said, I did not know the Oscars were that popular. Did not know people still watched that.

Whoa, did you see he said he called out Davante's effort?

I disagree with the whole “you don’t win games in July”. While I think he’s saying not beating the guys up and I get that but, games are won in practice. You play like you practice. If practice is sloppy I can almost guarantee the game will be sloppy. Discipline, fundamentals, scheme, and conditioning is where games are won. All that happens in practice which starts in training camp

Talks like a player, walks like a player. I hope he figures out how to be a HC.Raidernation1979 wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 11:17 am:I disagree with the whole “you don’t win games in July”. The 5-4 record as Interim HC (including a road win over the Super Bowl champs) would suggest he's figured out at least some of it.NoThanksSir wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 1:27 pm:Talks like a player, walks like a player. I hope he figures out how to be a HC.

I'm not as impressed by that as most, tbh. Though I do feel it's a promising start for a guy who's learning on the job.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 1:31 pm:The 5-4 record as Interim HC (including a road win over the Super Bowl champs) would suggest he's figured out at least some of it.

Not sure the answer is to try and be like the stereotypical Head Coach. Maybe, just maybe, the answer can be found more in the vicinity of being authentic, being yourself and being honest.NoThanksSir wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 1:27 pm:Talks like a player, walks like a player. I'm not really suggesting he needs to act like anything. I'm just making sense of the body of work he told me to judge him on. I think he showed some promising things as an interim coach, I just hope he evolves beyond this. There have been a lot of guys like this, I thought the same about Dan Campbell until he exceeded expectations. Hopefully AP follows the same trajectory. Imo this coaching style is not sustainable. There's a reason Rex Ryan is sitting in the booth, commenting on games. And he was a far better defensive mind than APsignal wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 1:33 pm:Not sure the answer is to try and be like the stereotypical Head Coach. Seemed to work well last season. Why should he go about trying to sound and walk like a stereotypical Head Coach now?

I don't think anything sloppy or low effort will be tolerated in practice. From the moment he took over players talked about practices emphasizing competition and rewarding effort.Raidernation1979 wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 11:17 am:I disagree with the whole “you don’t win games in July”. No idea if AP will be successful or not but I agree he isn’t the type to accept complacency and mediocrity.chucker wrote Wed Feb 28, 2024 2:21 pm:I don't think anything sloppy or low effort will be tolerated in practice. I've said all along that I expect effort to be at a new level this offseason. https://twitter.com/VicTafur/status/1762961991998537849
