Hold on guys. Only five days until the draft.raiders93 » Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:15 am
From what I’ve been reading recently it seems like, if McCarthy is going to jump one of “the big 3” it’s most likely going to be Maye, not Daniels.Dark Horse wrote Sat Apr 20, 2024 6:55 am:Ultimately scenario:
Bears- Williams
Commanders- Maye/McCarthy
Vikings- Maye/McCarthy
Raiders- Daniels

The following is from an interesting article I read. The bottom line conclusion is that trading back to acquire more picks is the most sound strategy.Nor_Cal_Raider » Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:38 am
I would ok with the draft going like this:crowbar » Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:11 pm
How many RB's do you need? We have 4.Nor_Cal_Raider wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:38 am:I would ok with the draft going like this:
Round 1 = CB
Round 2 OL
Round 3 OL
Round 4 RB

Listening to JT and looking at my boards it sure sounds like the consensus #2 QB is Daniels and while Maye sounds like an incredible prospect there are some real concerns there. Part of me wonders if Daniels team knows the Commanders intend to draft him but he is finding reasons to push back in hopes of sliding down to at least #3 in hopes of the Raiders drafting him? But the commanders are not interested in Maye and selecting McCarthy at #2 is a no go?raiders93 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:15 am:From what I’ve been reading recently it seems like, if McCarthy is going to jump one of “the big 3” it’s most likely going to be Maye, not Daniels.
We’ve got an interesting dynamic though where it seems like for the first time here we have an actual GM that is making the actual decisions.
The idea that AP desperately wants to move up for Daniels seems more fact than fiction. But he’s not the guy making the final call on that… should be interesting

Hobbs and Jones are pretty good, IMO. The addition of Wilkins will likely make them even better. I wouldn't mind another CB or RB, but the need isn't nearly as pressing as OL, and there will be at least 3 earth movers available at #13.BoKnows81 wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 2:17 am:And they all stink

I was referring to the RBs. I agree that Jones and Hobbs are good corners. We still need a 3rd but I prefer not to take a corner at 13.Amish Cabal wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:09 am:Hobbs and Jones are pretty good, IMO. The addition of Wilkins will likely make them even better. If Bowers is sitting there at #13, would you grab him? Many pundits say if you look at the great teams in the last few Superbowls, all have a great over the middle tight ends. I know its not a need position, but could be BPA.
