They shot their load. They don't have the cap space. To bad, because it would make perfect $cents$.16 to 88 wrote Fri Mar 29, 2024 9:43 pm:Perhaps next up a draft day trade for a certain wide receiver?

I can't see the reel because I'm in the UK but I've probably seen it before. It doesn't show any NFL relevance other than a big fast guy running with the ball. His father played American Football in the UK so Louis has been following the NFL. He's only 23 and he has a lot of big time experience playing for Wales and the British Lions. It would be interesting to know how he compares with Maxx physically. I think they would be close. His family is moving to USA.BigJerk wrote Fri Mar 29, 2024 7:50 am:OMG .... I would LOVE to see some of these Skills pop up instinctively in a game. All I know of this wannabe is this one 4 minute Highlight reel BUT:
"The Kick Through"??
Catching the ball on a bounce?
This highlight reel shows him getting rid of the ball anytime a tackler was within arms reach.
Imagine if that tackler was Maxx.
Splendid.

Possible but I imagine getting hit by NFL players in pads vs rugby isn’t very close to the same thing. He may well do great or he may develop alligator arms and suddenly forget how to hold onto the football. The Welshman wrote Sat Mar 30, 2024 3:29 pm:I can't see the reel because I'm in the UK but I've probably seen it before. Watch out for this guy.

How many guys who have played college ball that were considered good coming out of college totally bust? Can't miss...Xramfan wrote Sat Mar 30, 2024 3:43 pm:Possible but I imagine getting hit by NFL players in pads vs rugby isn’t very close to the same thing. Rasheed Rice apparently involved in a significant traffic incident right now.......(per CP)BigJerk » Sat Mar 30, 2024 10:54 pm

"I’ve been in this site for 20 years and I rarely post. This is unreported but reliable information.
Rice was involved in a major accident in Dallas tonight according to my police friends there. He was allegedly drunk and racing a Corvette vs a Lamborghini SUV. He wrecked the Corvette into an innocent persons car and either killed or seriously injured at least one person. He fled the location with all occupants of both racing vehicles and Dallas Police are looking for him as the suspect in this incident. He’s on the run in Dallas.
Damn. He was the sole hope I had at receiver last year. Ban me if this turns out to be untrue. You’ll soon see."

Not looking good for Rice:https://twitter.com/TympanickLaw/status ... 0page%3D28Matt Tympanick

In re #RasheeRice, I think he can expect to be charged with leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury. With an individual in the hospital, the charge is a 3rd degree felony and if the alleged victim dies, the charge becomes a 2nd degree felony. A quick 1/3

The 3rd degree felony is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a 2nd degree felony is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. I also think reckless driving with serious bodily injury is a very real possibility as well which is also a 2nd degree felony. 2/3

Another genius "yo dawg let's get out of here", god only knows how he thought he could just walk away.srv5490 » Sun Mar 31, 2024 6:44 pm
Technically that will just be coincidence, not irony. It will be ironic, however, if and when he scores his first touchdown in the NFL that it will be the first time he won't actually have to touch the ball down for it to count. The Welshman wrote Fri Mar 29, 2024 3:42 am:I've always shouted for the guy when he was wearing the red of Wales (and the Lions); ironically he'll be wearing red in KC.

There could be a difference in the alcohol consumed - we may never get information on that with Rice because he fled the scene. It seems like he may be trying to get his ducks in a row in terms of a "stolen car" or fall guy strategy right now as he's still not been found by police apparently. He'll be looking at major legal and league ramifications after fleeing the scene and then not reporting to police once it's evident they are looking for him. I'm assuming it was likely him driving and not an actual stolen car, although I guess a stolen car taken for a joyride is a remote possibility.Jeevo wrote Sun Mar 31, 2024 2:25 pm:It’s looking like nobody was seriously injured. At this point it seems like there’s very little difference between Rice and Ruggs, with the exception of luck and/or fate.

I feel guilty saying this, and wish these things never happen, but, if had to happen, I am not going to lie, I did smile a bit knowing it was a guy from KC. I confess I am guilty. Maybe deep down there is a bit of a dark side, because I think most did not even think in these terms or am I not alone?chucker wrote Mon Apr 01, 2024 6:53 am:There could be a difference in the alcohol consumed - we may never get information on that with Rice because he fled the scene.
