May I inquire your age sir?raider_kin wrote Tue Mar 26, 2024 6:34 pm:For g*d's sake TT, would you effing sign a g*d damn free agent already? You think you're done?

Hey we are all Raider fans and yes, it is easy to get impatient during the long offseason. And yes, there is mounds of time yet to make moves and yes, the under the radar moves usually happen late in the free agency period...but damn, I fully understand anyone's impatience because it simply implies they are excited about seeing what the new edition of the Raiders in 2024 will look like.Sold My Soul wrote Tue Mar 26, 2024 7:00 pm:May I inquire your age sir?

Him and Jenkins are both steals for what they got. I don't understand how players like Nichols and Tillery made more (considerably).

Jenkins actually got more money than the most recent reports, if I recall correctly. It's about a $3 million deal, which I think was the initial report but then further details said it was about half that. Anyway it seems that it's actually $3 million. Still great value for what we got from him last season and his motivation appears to be high enough that he shouldn't really slip from that level much, if at all.DanKD » Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:34 am
I like the FA strategy being utlized. They paid the bucks for the key targets but theres always mid range players that get way overpaid at the start of free agency. Nichols and Tillery are perfect examples. Nichols especially is a solid player but not aby better than the two guys we resigned for way cheaper.signal » Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:48 am
Not sure if I am alone in this, but am looking forward to the baseball season starting so as to serve as a distraction during this eternity of an offseason of football. I LOVE NFL football but I do enjoy baseball just enough that it does serve as a nice distraction between those times where nothing of note is happening Raider -wise.DanKD » Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:50 am
Yeah its a slow time in sports though at least march madness is a couple week distraction. For me its nice once the nba and nhl postseason start it starts to get more interesting.signal wrote Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:48 am:Not sure if I am alone in this, but am looking forward to the baseball season starting so as to serve as a distraction during this eternity of an offseason of football. Also in response to DanK down below and agree: March Madness, then the Masters, then the draft, then (a little) playoff hockey (semi's and finals). I have no time for the NBA any more, even the finals. Baseball:meh. After the draft it's a waiting game.signal wrote Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:48 am:Not sure if I am alone in this, but am looking forward to the baseball season starting so as to serve as a distraction during this eternity of an offseason of football. Baseball is my second sport, I watch Sunday's for the majors, hockey but it has to be live. I think I have seen 3 minutes of MM and NBA is now just too hard to watch since the Jordan rules took effect.raider_kin wrote Wed Mar 27, 2024 11:06 am:Also in response to DanK down below and agree: March Madness, then the Masters, then the draft, then (a little) playoff hockey (semi's and finals).
