Fuaga with 13. Trade back into first to get Penix in the 20s.MexicanHulk » Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:39 am
Sorry but I think the OP’s rule is dumb so, I’m explaining. It’s more fun lolOpoponax50 » Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:48 am
If Penix is there and we don't take him, he could easily tumble into the 2nd round and then we could possibly grab him there. To me that'd be ideal. No pressure to start right away, let him get used to the NFL game. Make him earn his spot. And we don't give up the farm.MexicanHulk wrote Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:39 am:Sorry but I think the OP’s rule is dumb so, I’m explaining. It’s more fun lol
Prediction: OT JC Latham
I’d take T.Fuaga over him but Latham is good too. Fuaga just has awesome fundamentals & technique. The only thing Fuaga doesn't possess is, good arm length. I also think Penix has a 50/50 shot at being there at #13 but they go OT over him. Small chance of it being Q.Mitchell or B.Murphy.
I’d go Penix if available. All the above options are good picks imo. I’d like a trade back & still get Fuaga, then trade back into the first for Penix but, that’s dream scenario

That would be nice but, I don’t think he falls to the second. Seachickens, Rams or, Lions could jump on him. With a chance of Steelers, Cowgirls or, Bucs as well.Opoponax50 wrote Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:48 am:If Penix is there and we don't take him, he could easily tumble into the 2nd round and then we could possibly grab him there. Take an OL in the first round and Jordan Travis in a later round.MexicanHulk » Thu Apr 25, 2024 10:08 am
I hope they do not go after Higgins at all. Not worth it draft pick wise nor, salary cap wise. Aiyuk while I feel is an elite WR, do not wanna trade a 1st+ (which it’d likely take) & pay him. Doubt they’ll do this but, praying they don’t.Jeevo wrote Thu Apr 25, 2024 10:05 am:I'm also interested to see if we get significant action on the trade front with guys that are not signed yet. Higgins, Aiyuk, etc.. It's setting up to be an epic draft right now.

I'm trying to avoid actually working today, so....MexicanHulk wrote Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:56 am:That would be nice but, I don’t think he falls to the second. Seachickens, Rams or, Lions could jump on him. With a chance of Steelers, Cowgirls or, Bucs as well.
Even if he were to fall to the second all the way to the Raiders, it’d probably be a good idea to trade up into the first (as long as it doesn’t take much, maybe next years 3rd at most) for him. So you lock him up for the 5th year option. That’d save the team so much money if he were to pan out. That 5th year is real valuable to have, especially for a QB

Read on The Athletic that Raiders evaluate the OT/OL class as quite a bit deeper than the CB class, so I'll go Mitchell/Arnold,MexicanHulk » Thu Apr 25, 2024 10:11 am
I wish I didn’t have to work today either. But I’m here. Once 5pm hits, I’m going incognito till tomorrow. I’m gonna record today & watch it tomorrow along with day two. Too hard to watch only one round.Opoponax50 wrote Thu Apr 25, 2024 10:08 am:I'm trying to avoid actually working today, so....
Fair enough. I wouldn't hate trading back up into the 1st to grab him if at all possible, but I only see Seattle as the team that would be a serious threat to take him in the first. Pittsburgh appears to have committed to Wilson and a clerkship for Whatshisface. I don't think Dallas is ready to get rid of Dak (but I could see it happening), and the Bucs just committed to Mayfield. They all could sit back and see who falls to them in the 2nd, but they all pick after us.
