I only see 3 that are guaranteed to start: Miller, James, and Powers. Is Parham at risk of losing his starting LG role?signal » Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:02 am
Yep, I expect TT to add another piece to the mix, but as of now, yes think this is the starting lineup.GUYDON wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:59 am:I think there may be more additions, but for right now...
LT: Miller
LG: Parham
C: James
RG: Powers-Johnson
RT: Mumford

I have a feeling that Parham will be the odd man out. If Whitehair is healthy I think the starting Guards may be Powers and Whitehair. I really hope they nailed the unpopular Glaze pick. That would be awesome if he beats out Munford (not that I have a problem with him).WolfRaider » Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:10 am
Whitehair was borderline criminal last season. He might only get a place on the roster as he can play Gaurd and centre and knows Getsy.BoJacksonRules wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:03 am:I have a feeling that Parham will be the odd man out. Parham is the weak link. He should still be valued because of his versatility, but he should not be starting.BoJacksonRules wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:03 am:I have a feeling that Parham will be the odd man out. Agree. I would feel much better about the OL if Parham was a backup piece. TT did a great job of addressing the OL in the draft but I would really like starting level piece added to the mix. A team needs at least 8 if not 9 strong OL pieces going into the long grind of a 17 game season. OL is not as good as its starters, it is as good as it's depth.RI RAIDER wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:13 am:Parham is the weak link. I'm going to go with Miller- JPJ - James - Parham - MunfordRunOverByHubbard » Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:21 am
Cody Whitehair was a 2nd round choice of the Bears in 2016. He started every single game of his career until last year, when he started 12 of 17. He made the Pro Bowl one year (I think 2018). Anyone know what was his deal last year? Injured? Replaced? I assume the Bears just released him off -season. The Raiders signed him for $2.5 million for one year. He was making $10.5 million last season.Sir Raider Duck, OMS » Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:30 am
But Parham is lighter and more mobile than JPJ. Generally, your bigger o-linemen go on the right side and your lighter, more nimble o-lineman go on the left because more running plays go to the right because that's where your TE lines up because your QB is right-handed. You want a LG who can easily pull to the right side when needed.Ismail86 wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:28 am:I'm going to go with Miller- JPJ - James - Parham - Munford
Parham played the majority of his college career at RG and there was a large amount of people that wanted him to play there last year.
Side note... is "Mumford" the new "Andrew Walters" or "Jonathan Abraham" or "Terrelle Prior"?

Parham should be center. James should be gone.BoKnows81 » Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:40 am
He was bad. Real bad last yearRunOverByHubbard wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:21 am:Cody Whitehair was a 2nd round choice of the Bears in 2016. Whitehair was benched last year with Getsy as the OC. He knows Getsy so he'll be helpful in getting other linemen up to speed, especially since he was the backup center in Chicago. But IMO he's depth. The Condor » Tue Apr 30, 2024 4:59 am
Agreed. Cheaper, younger, more athletic, more upside.mranquales wrote Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:36 am:Parham should be center. James should be gone.
