He was racing against the car where driver died. Carter and the other driver were legally intoxicated. Hes gonna fall..Sir Raider Duck, OMS » Wed Mar 01, 2023 9:41 am
For me, it's not even the racing part. That falls under "Stupid College Students Acting Stupidly."ALLRAIDERWORLD21 » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:07 am
I'm thinking more about Ruggs. Raiders could not conceivably draft a player with history of being a driver racing where the other car crashed where there was fatality and where there is alcohol involved. And you're in Vegas too with alcohol available 24/7. What liability would the Raiders have if he crashed again and had been drinking. And what about the public relations nightmare. Objectively speaking, is it worth it?Willmark » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:14 am
Put this under the more facts need to be brought forth. Innocent until proven guilty.HesterLayes » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:14 am
Yeah that’s a tough call.I don’t think he drops that much.he is an incredible prospect. If he was there at 7 I’d still take him and maybe Max and Waller could talk and mentor him about their situations with substance abuse.Trainnvain » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:17 am
I get what you are saying but unless the Raiders are providing the alcohol and/or pouring down his throat, they would have no criminal or civil liability if this guy crashed while drinking/driving. Just as they had no liability when Ruggs did his thing.ALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:07 am:I'm thinking more about Ruggs. This maybe a situation where it is to soon after the Riggs incident to take a guy with the back ground of drink drivingSold My Soul » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:37 am
You don't draft anyone with a lack of maturity or questionable decision making when you play football in sin city.BoJacksonRules » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:42 am
Did he get a DUI? NoLayneStaley » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:58 am
If he falls to 7 it’s a no brainer imo. I’d keep a tight leash on him his rookie year though.Ivanavich » Wed Mar 01, 2023 11:00 am
In the 1970s in rural Wisconsin teens did drag race on country roads. Didn't get caught because there was no traffic, no traffic cameras, no Satellite cameras, no houses for the next mile.BoJacksonRules wrote Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:42 am:Did he get a DUI? No
Did someone die in his vehicle? No
Did he crash into someone? No
So none of you drove reckless when you were under 22. Years of age and stupid.

I would not run to anything just yet. It was not like Ruggs, but let's see what the facts are.BoJacksonRules wrote Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:42 am:Did he get a DUI? No

Jumping to a comparison to Ruggs situation is a big stretch.
I’d run to the podium if he was there at 7.

Fair enough, but if it all checks out I stand by my statement.RunOverByHubbard wrote Wed Mar 01, 2023 11:12 am:I would not run to anything just yet. It was not like Ruggs, but let's see what the facts are.
